Re: Maiden JORC resource RNS Hi FlapsI was also expecting higher grades and I am very disappointed with DA/SAV as they were quick to highlight the high percentages of HMS in previous RNSetc.I suppose the SP fell due to several reasons with the first one being the issue of the RNS at the wrong time of year and only being 65mt.DA and SAV now need to outline their Jangamo programme for the coming year and decide if they will start mining or start the sale of Jangamo and concentrate on becoming a copper mining company in Oman. Re: Maiden JORC resource RNS PB / Shed,Any ideas regarding the market reaction to the RNS?Not quite the reaction I was expecting, was the market expecting much higher 'grades'?
Re: Maiden JORC resource RNS Sold a few elsewhere and managed to pick up another 100k SAV shares at 3.2p just before the close. What a steal that will look this time next year!
Re: Maiden JORC resource RNS Great result from David Archer and crew, on schedule as promised. The grade is pretty much the same as the resource grade which Rio Tinto have next door; and 65 million tons (and open) from what is a tiny speck on a large map with huge potential for increase is excellent news for long-term holders.Meanwhile, a few traders sell off their small punts immediately on any news, good or bad! With expected good news flow from both Mozambique and Oman to come in 2015, and a current market cap of only about £7 million, SAV has great multibagging potential for long term serious investors. I look forward to 2015: Happy New Year (12 hours away) to all long term holders!
Maiden JORC resource RNS HIGHLIGHTS:· A maiden JORC compliant Inferred Mineral Resource has been defined over a number of zones within the eastern part of the Jangamo exploration licence:Cut-off Grade (THM) Category Tonnage Grade THM ("Total Heavy Minerals" 2.5% Inferred 65Mt 4.2% Table 1: High Level Jangamo Mineral Resource Summary· Initial resource drilling has successfully identified higher grade areas of THM mineralisation at or near surface· A major Heavy Mineral Sands ("HMS" strandline system defined in the western part of the Jangamo tenement has excellent additional resource potential with intersections of up to 45m at 3.51% THM from 12m in JMRC133· 2015 field programme in Mozambique is expected to start in March following the wet season with work to focus on expansion of the current resource baseSavannah's CEO, David Archer said, "We are delighted to announce a maiden Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate of 65Mt at 4.2% THM from a modest initial round of resource drilling over part of the eastern arm of the Jangamo tenement. The MRE provides us with a very solid resource base to build on with further resource drilling. The deposit we have identified is part of the very large Mutamba heavy mineral sands system with excellent potential to further expand the Mineral Resource in Savannah's tenement area. The Mineral Resource identified remains open along strike.''We have also identified a major HMS system in the western part of the tenement with excellent intersections of up to 45m at 3.51%THM from 12m in JMRC133. The western system, which extends over at least 10km in strike, requires further exploration to be undertaken prior to resource drilling. "Jangamo is part of a very large system and we are focused on defining a higher grade project that has superior economic characteristics for the development of a profitable mining operation with modest capital costs. Importantly, much of the Mineral Resource is from surface. This complements the favourable local infrastructure setting that benefits from nearby roads, power and port.''We will now look to assess a number of promising commercial and strategic options for Jangamo following on from the definition of the maiden MRE. This is being done in parallel with the field programme in Mozambique which is expected to recommence in March following the wet season with work to focus on expansion of the current resource base."

RNS Assay Results Are looking good for an excellent JORC this year 2014
Today's RNS [link] grades of good thickness from surface! Just what we need to hear, and now calculating initial JORC resource figures from such data, on track for release before end of 2014. Sounds like a very welcome Christmas present!
IF oil price stays low Then it has to be good for the world economy and that means minerals JIMO
More good news 3 RNS todayBergen cancelled is great news, JORC in December and 1 small placing
Re: Going well today PharmaYes a very good RNS and I am glad you heard my echo, I am in for long term. The assay results for Jangamo should be announced within the next week or two and JORC before Christmas, I also wonder if there is a finance deal with APF this week as I still believe Bergen are finished.SAV are certainly moving in the right direction and I believe 12p/ 14p will be easily broken on the Jangamo JORC news as DA himself has said a lot of newsflow to come.
