Boom! That's more like it! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Another fantastic RNS confirms that Portugal alone is worth a multiple of the current CAP. Good write up in the press. Mining license in Oman should come through any day…and Mozambique is mind-boggingly big! Got to be careful not to ramp! I’ve topped up again with whatever I had floating around. I wish I was braver to “bet the farm†as that could be a retirement event! But I have a decent wad and believe it can multi-bag from here still. SAV are playing a very savvy game bringing mines into production at just the right time in the respective commodity curves (e.g. Oman’s copper hitting sweet spot just as they should be able to go into production, Portugal’s lithium just as electric vehicles take off etc). Guitarsolo - is there anybody out there?
Its not quiet....its dead. Mind you the other 2 boards one might read don't have that many on them either but they do have something going on at least....
Re: Boom! That's more like it! BOOM BOOM BOOM!In physics you would call this wave dynamics. One bit of good news compounding the effect of another bit of good news. And the great thing about SAV is that it has 3 excellent projects on the go (Oman, Portugal and Mozambique) so there is triple the possibility of a good news story coming out. If Oman can get the final rubber stamp from the PAM and be mining by say September/October it could give SAV a very handy income stream for 2019 to pay for other developments. Any one of these developments could be worth a multiple of the current market cap on their own. So still much upside potential in my view. Perhaps that 41p target for SAVP should be re-written for SAV after all!Guitarsolo - happy with this and hopeful for more.
Boom! That's more like it! Nice 52% upgrade to resource in Portugal. Glad I picked up another 100k of shares last week at 5.25p. Very quiet on this board. More discussion over on ADVFN including some investors who have some good knowledge of mining (not my field but I have a few investments). Guitarsolo
Re: Broker forecast - Barclays IT IS supposed to be for SAVP.Sorry everyone..... as you were. Guitarsolo - well, they could have made it clearer!
Re: Broker forecast - Barclays Well, it's not supposed to be a price target for SAVP.Barcap have never issued a broker note on Savannah Petroleum and all broker notes issued from others are sells! It could still be a typo.....14p rather than 41p...... Or just a very confident broker!Guitarsolo
Re: Broker forecast - Barclays Basil, That's what I thought, but it clearly says Savannah Resources (SAV).[link] could still be an error.Guitarsolo
Re: Broker forecast - Barclays that is for Savannah Petroleum (SAVP)
Broker forecast - Barclays "Barclays Capital today initiates coverage of Savannah Resources (LON:SAV) with a overweight investment rating and price target of 41p."Crikey! I presume this is one of the brokers who was recently out in Portugal. He/she must have been pretty impressed to post a price "target" 700% of the current share price! Unless that is a typo somehow!I've not delved into the coverage (and don't subscribe to Barclays Cap) but it would be interesting to know how they have got to this conclusion. Guitarsolo
Where are the iii SAVers? Its just starting to get interesting!
Re: Gary Newman. This must be the placing Cornhill are holding up as there most successful placing in last 6 months.6p to 6.25p ( placing 5.25p ( it went a little higher first few days ) About 17% up to date .Easily mixed up with SAVP. !!!!
