Re: Correct Still pots of value here. And May
Messy Well I don't understand this share, what is happening in South Africa, nor the last discussion post. I don't know if exchange rate movements might affect the final return. For peace of mind I have disposed of my remaining stock today to use the loss to ensure I have fully covered any CGT liability from this FY trading.
Correct Although unaudited .Seems , as usual . One was on the spot.Good luck AllAnd May
Re: 11p NAV Value here still?Couple of decent sized buys yesterday.
Re: 11p NAV Marktime, It all depends on what SAPO re-opens at .I maybe think all shares as this , generally follow the same course .I am holding at least until post the dividend.Good LuckAnd May
Re: 11p NAV New to this message board, and enjoying my second year as an amateur active trader. Please be gentle.I am a bit stumped as to what the true SAPO net asset valuation is, did the board really say it is only 11p after having agreed the sale of all its remaining assets? Given the sale is a done deal in ZAR surely the shares should be trading at close to full value? Is that why the stock is trading at around 11.5p (the boost from 11p has come from a currency gain since December, ZAR:GBP has improved from 17.2 to 16.5:1)Except that others (hl, morningstar) are still reporting a NAV of 15.5 to 16.2p, eg at 11.5p there is a 35%-40% discount. On that basis I have bought a small stake and and look forward to the first dividend of 7.25p this month. I am hopeful of further currency gains and a final dividend of around 9p.But if there is only another 4-5p to come in the second half of 2017 I will feel rather stupid.AGIT is similarly winding up mid-2017 with a 230p NAV but it is trading at around 200p and there is a prospect of a small interim dividend in Feb too ... that seems to be the very definition of value investing, and yet I passed this opportunity in favour of potentially bigger returns from SAPO.
Re: 11p NAV 7.25p Dividend. So hopefully that leaves .About 9p give or take .Spread is a bit of a killer. And May
11p NAV May be quite conservative of the BOD.Still prudence is admirable.I expect nearer 16p is possible. And May
