Re: so much for the mid april TD !!! Never know they might be drilling down further if they find anoil seam it may just carry on, just because they said 4,950 metres doesnt mean they have to stick to that.

There were 855 metres still to drill 1 April (4,095), with no stoppages that's approx. 37 metres per day to drill down to 4,950 metres.I think they would have slowed down some for safety reasons if the pressures down there are as high as the A5 wells lower target (7K PSI at surface!), so we could see an understandable delay (10 days from today?), also 37 metres per day is some going even though the last 25% of the well is supposed to get easier to drill through. We simply don't know, they could be casing now at TD which will take a few days or still drilling.With the 801 well coming in and an additional USD30 million in the bank 30 April or so, the icing on the cake would be news re the drill bit being removed and the 30 day flow test commencing.Could be a great Op's week next week, after all the 801 well is 8 km closer to Tengiz :- )

so much for the mid april TD !!! The vuggy stuff should already have been reached, if there is any. They were referring to 801 when they said in the latest operational update on the 1st April;' We continue to expect the well will reach Total Depth by mid April 2015. '[link] wouldn't be good news to now find out both of their deeps are experiencing difficulties. Of course, 801 could be a duster, in which case they may be delaying the announcement in the hope they can temper it with better news from A5.Who knows, it's a lottery out there but you've gotta be in it to win it!

to the extent there is anything significant... therefore at present a5 is still blocked and 801 is yet to hit TD????

Re: Chinese No Dare, it was just my honest (probably incorrect) assessment based on holding these for a long time. I'm not selling, I'm holding. But I wouldn't buy right now either. I dearly hope it is announced this week that there is a huge find and we blast through 30p. But I suspect the next news may be another delay to the testing. Which will cause the share price to sink back to sub 14p or so and so then is the time to buy. hence my "hold" recommendation.
