Well done Well done everyone that's held
GREAT NEWS!! this is turning out to be another great discovery , imo, all good news today, we have discovered another new!!! oil findGLA TLH Patience paying off
RNS tomorrow ref payment.... I don't think, lots of delay's here on all fronts a bit concerning.
RNSAlerts.co.uk updae on Galaz sale is on the news tab....
20th..... Get the feeling this date is going to come and go with out any money forthcoming.
Why? Is iii so quite? - 10 years ago this bb would have been buzzing right now!More action on LSE - why?
Core results should be announced soon, imo, been a while nowGLA LTH come on Clive , fingers crossed its as good as A5
Re: RNS avago, Yes, I think any usual interpretation would make the reader think it is now considered to be a separate structure. But until the well reaches target depth, I am not sure how they may think that because geological structures are not usually flat, oil rises to the top of water, so if it is deeper than A5 perhaps better if separate. It looks as if they think they are about to drill into the payzone, so just hope its as good as the A5 field looks to be. A second large oilfield would be great. We may get news before the next bank holiday weekend, if not i would expect something by the end of the month.
Re: RNS Just a little bit concerned by the word "previously" in the their released statement"The well is located approximately 8 kilometers from Deep Well A5 and is targeting the Lower Carboniferous previously thought to be in same structure as Deep Well A5."Do they think it is a different structure now?
Re: looking good!! Must admit I 'smell' reservations a little too on this one Hammers. For a drill that was supposed to be TD as of mid April, it seems pretty peculiar it took them until very recently to report anything about it, and even then, I don't see what they have reported as highly encouraging. If I was a suspicious man, I would reason with myself they have delayed news on 801 until such time as they felt they were able to offer better sentiment about the troubled A5.801 probably not going to offer us anything and all pinned on A5 in my guesstimation. That's not to say A5 won't be enough for a decent payday though, A5 alone with a decent result should result in a good share price hike. Having said that, BOCO did recently invest 20m at 18p - so who knows! I'm in deeper than I should be! Good luck to all holders.
Re: looking good!! I'm pretty sure that the reason they're not as open on this drill is because it a different drilling operator - sinopec
Re: looking good!! Only (small) concern is they don't seem quite as open and positive about this second drill i.e. they have to do the coring, on the first one they announced "pay" as they went, but as you say once they get the first hole cleared happy days, but while on that one why are they doing a 30 day well test bit long for a first pass isn't it?
looking good!! with news on the coring sample due any day now!, RXP is looking good as the Sp gains momentum ,a result similar to A5 will see this shoot upwards, wont be long before were into single digits of drilling string to be removed and the long awaited flow test can begin, GLA LTH had a little Top Up this morning, happy to be invested here!
with a bit of persuading the drill bit will have gone into orbit and half way to the moon with that pressure behind it
Re: so much for the mid april TD !!! On 1 April the 801 well was at 4,095 meters and today it's at 4.649 metres having drilled another 554 metres in 30 days, an average of 18.5 metres per day. With 300 metres still to be drilled re the 801 well we can expect TD, if drilling at the same speed (18.5 metres pd av.), in approx. 16 days, 17the of May if no problems, should be a good week with the $30 million due on the 20th of May.............and even better if they can get the A5's 20 remaining pipe lengths out around the same time (one per day?).So a double whammy RNS on Wednesday, 20 May?Gas condensate cap looking good with 300 metres to drill through thereafter, 8+ km oil reservoir on the cards.
