of no importance I dint want to mention it before the drill result, but it cant affect anything nowRMP farmed into this drill as Century Red Ltd, a private company, sub of Red Emperor. I dont understand how that works, can anyone helpI understand holding companies and subsidiaries but I dont understand how shareholders interests/funds get transferred to another private company without anyone knowing about itIs this how RRL were able to lend money to other companies and then use creative accounting?Dont they have to list the subsidiaries?

Re: Expect the worst. ....(minus typos!) Based on today's news, I recon someone holding £16K of RMP shares knew the bad news late on Friday and sold out then,,,

Re: move to Cinco anytime soon ? re your post goldielock 01.04 am todayquestion to Otto Energy after rns issued on Hawkeye-1 today. In the RMP rns top reservoir encountered gas is this potentially positive for derisking of Cinco & would there be any timescales re move over to Cinco ?reply below from Otto Energy today. xxxxxxxThe preparation for a deepwater well requires at 6 months of preparation. We won’t be moving over to Cinco with the Maersk Venturer. The rig is heading over to South America at the end of the year for another assignment I understand. Can’t be too disappointed in the outcome – we had the opportunity to drill Hawkeye and I am very proud of the team and all of our service companies with the performance in drilling. It was an outstanding achievement for a small company like Otto to execute such an operation. Very proud of my team. Onto the next thing now – Alaska and Tanzania will be upon us in no time.Kind regards __________ __________ __________ __________ __________ __________ __________ _follow up in Australia.Otto Energy will have a summary presentation out for the Good Oil conference in Perth Aust., 2-3 September. They require some time to consolidate everything now they are through the operation and communicate to the shareholders and market.

Re: Any future? Yes, very disappointing, I'm already down a huge amount since Puntland but it's not the end so I will let it ride again. Many I'm sure will be selling with a view to make whatever money they have left work in another share.Between drills RMP have been good at keeping cash burn low and Hawkeye was a well executed project. Otto won't be in a hurry to crunch the data and move onto Cinco or any other SC55 prospect so a follow-up drill in the Philippines may be some time. With £5.5m in cash let's hope GB won't take too long to find a similar opportunity to roll the dice again, and fingers crossed the next one comes off. Then there's Georgia!

Re: Any future? traders will win this round. I only had £270 in my account but got over 18,600 shares @ 1.38. It will be such a kick to win a tiny bit back...nearly there...going up

Re: I must have learned something. . So that's why there was a placing at 4p. Silly me... Anyway. I'm now out of RMP for good. Sold at 1.25p no doubt it will recover a little but for me... Bye bye not buy buy

Re: Any future? Good buying opportunity - they've already secured the fund for future exploration. Watch the follow up news!GL all..

Re: I must have learned something. . Normal adage is sell on news. In this case a 60% drop to the region of an all time low (1.16) makes it a buy.Still got cash another day another spud.

IvestorOl 17 Aug 2015

Any future? Disappointing outcome, clearly. Any views on whether to keep holding here? Sitting with a big paper loss as I'd imagine may are at present. Seem to recall the company had some cash in the bank for future efforts but this must be dwindling, and potentially spelling the end for RMP?? It's a pity as I'd hoped this drill would be the route back to a reasonable SP, not so on this occasion. GL all for the future.

Shareshopper1 17 Aug 2015

I must have learned something. . from the nightmare of the past 5 years as I honestly did not get excited about this drill. As I said previously, hitting the jackpot on aim is so rare and I guess the chances of me getting my stake back in my lifetime is nothing short of a miracle.I would have felt totally depressed at this outcome a few years back but today I don't give a @#$÷ as I'm back living in the real world.Comiserations to anyone who has lost money on this punt. Normal service is now resumed.
