Re: Todays drop polter that's the sort of thing that happens with oil companies I've invested in.They follow the price of oil down religiously, yet nothing happens when oil goes up.It's a one way bet... In fact I must get some margin in my spread betting account and just go short on everything.... can't lose !

Re: Todays drop I'm sure at one time the management had good intentions, but as with 99.99% of AIM companies they have reverted to type and it has now become just a means of rewarding directors at the expense of shareholders. If it wasn't that type of company then it wouldn't be listed on AIM.I just wish they'd do something with that cash pile to help us long suffering PIs. Just a little bit of payback for our patience would be nice.

Re: Todays drop I am as disappointed as anybody and I am almost 30% down on this investment. However, is the price drop really a surprise when you look at the copper price charts? Over the last 6 months the copper price per pound has dropped from around $3.20 to less than $2.80. There was a particularly steep decline in price over the last few weeks. We are after all primarily a copper producer with gold as a bonus or am I missing something? I hope that the lower oil price will reduce fuel costs which may offset some of the drop in the price in copper. As a marker of the health of the world economy, falls in the price of "Dr Copper" are ominous indeed..... We may have to hold this investment for rather a lot longer to see a return unless the price of gold explodes and we can focus on gold production.

Re: Todays drop This share seems to go down when gold goes down and stay there when it goes up!

Re: Todays drop Ha, Bl**dy Ha!! Excuse me for laughing, Uphill, but that's exactly what I did when RMM plumbed the new (for then) depths of 26p.My reward for such astute bottom fishing resulted in yet another purchase of RMM shares which have plunged in value, this time by 19% in a few months. I'm now sitting on a cumulative loss of £6000+Do you think that there is anybody alive at RMM HQ or doesn't anybody there check this site occasionally or is it that they do but just don't care? Like KarlMar5, I'm less than happy with a company which I once admired and, consequently, trusted to do the right thing for its investors. More fool me!

Re: Todays drop Chin up... Buy more as it is due for a bounce to up limits of down channel.

Todays drop Means that I am currently down a tad under 35% on this share. I used to be very optamistic about this share but as the months have merged into years it feels like Rambler is sucking the life out of me. If I ever get back to my original purchase price I will be out as quick as a shot never to return.I do not make it a habit to have a go at companies that I have a holding in but this outfit is so mind numbingly boring with information for PIs to digest and give hope. Roll on Spring.I wonder if I applied to the Oxford English dictionary folk they could re-difine/change the word "Dissapointing" to "Rambler"Glad to get that off my chest and good luck to ALL holdersRegards KM

Re: Another shipment Maybe the market doesn't like Ramblers mantra "Prolong the life of the mine" instead of it's about time we rewarded our backers/shareholders with a dividend, even if it's a small one!!And I suspect the fall in the share price coincides with the time of year and transport issues. I have no doubt it will be rather chilly in that neck of the woods and their probably won't be any more shipments until spring.Regards KM

Another shipment More money/profit........ and the market doesn't like it...Must admit I preferred Rambler when they had loads of debt, loads of risk, the mine wasn't going and there was still a long way to go to commercial production and profitability...... and the share price was almost double what it is now.Might give them a call and tell them to stop mining and making money as it's obviously not what the market wants.

Re: Have I Overslept or What? Thanks, Manic. I'm pleased to say that the headaches are getting less.

Re: No Explanation Yes, I hope so. Though, apparently, the new footwall resource contains no gold so we are becoming more of a copper play. So only a boost in the short term?

schwee 09 Dec 2014

Re: No Explanation and hopefully the recent uptick in the gold price is more than a flash in the proverbial pan.

HiTide 09 Dec 2014

No Explanation Hmm. Why didn't the RNS explain why head grades were low and what they will do to improve this?At least next quarters results will have the benefit of the 30%+ drop in oil prices and Henderson wouldn't be buying so many shares if they weren't confident of the future. Hold.
