Re: Who's milking Who!! It is a strong buy at this price. We all know the copper price fell off a cliff in December having fallen throughout 2014. There are some signs of copper price recovery. The huge drop in share price is a typical AIM stock overreaction. Anyone would think the company was going bankrupt. I'm sure the shorter vultures pounced on that RNS with gleeful talons. It is only reasonable that a Rambler have sought to cut costs when the copper price is so low. Sit tight, this will recover given time!

Who's milking Who!! I just had a look at my selftrade account and was staggered to see this so I thought I would share it with you. RMM OverviewRambler Metals & Mining is in the mining sector and is currently trading at 10.50p per share. In the last year Rambler Metals & Mining's share price has ranged from 10.10p to 32.00p and brokers are currently rating this stock as 'strong buy'.Laugh....If I wasn;t losing so much I would.Regards KM

Re: The way things are going... Hickster,Asyou say, I cannot imagine that either Tinma or Henderson would be happy bunnies to see a competitor buy a sizeable chunk of the company at less than a third of what they paid and I hope that they are making this clear to management. In fact, if either of them were really confident that Management knew what they were doing with the company, I might expect to see them increase their own holdings at these knock-down prices (down by another 6.6% today). The fact that they haven't done anything like that so far might indicate that they are not sufficiently confident of management's ability to restore the SP to near what they bought in at but they don't want to bail out at present prices and suffering such a humungous loss (like me, really!!) so are waiting to see whether the shares have finally bottomed out. I for one will not be buying any more as there is an immutable law of nature that says that whenever I make a speculative purchase, the purchased share drops through the floor.

Re: The way things are going... I'm assuming Tinma and Henderson still have big stakes so I'm sure they'd have something to say if someone tried to get Rambler on the cheap... I guess they must be as fed up as us PI's though with the management.....

Re: The way things are going... Hickster,Its that RMM is debt-free, cash rich and now trading at almost single figures that makes it vulnerable to a predator. I wish that the board would show that it has confidence in its own company by doing something positive to boost the SP before an unfriendly predator with his greedy eyes on that cash-in-the-bank snaps up all those cheap shares now swilling round. As KM5 says, RMM should be buying back as many of those shares as it can (they're cheap enough) thereby pushing the SP up and leaving fewer for predators. Whilst I think that this current board has been totally supine for as long as I can remember (perhaps a year or two), I think I'd prefer them to a take-over at this depressed price. (However, my mind can always be changed.)I last bought at 25p thinking that the only way was up (more fool me) having bought most of my holding when it was trading in the low 30s and I'm now looking at a 5 figure loss. I've not seen the company do anything to stimulate the SP and certainly haven't seen any of the Board show even a modicum of confidence in its own company by buying its shares. If a predator came along and offfered me 20p a share I would be sorely tempted and if it offered 25p I would leap at it. However, I'd prefer it if the Board got off its collective butt and took action to boost the share price to something significantly better than the 10.50p at which it is currently trading.Other than that, life couldn't be better (until the tablets wear off).

Re: The way things are going... paying off it's debt it has made itself a prime target for a takeover. Why do they not buy some of the shares then at least they will be in a stronger negotiating postition when the sharks start circling?Regards KM

Re: The way things are going... Doc, good luck getting any response from the company... they never reply to any of my emails.Just have to hope they release news soon and that it's good !Really did think Rambler was one of my "safe" shares as they were debt free, profitable and had cash in the bank... But then I suppose there is a reason they're listed on AIM.......Is the company really at risk here ? Surely with no debt and only a temporary set back they should be generating cash soon. 6.5mil should act as quite a decent buffer shouldn't it ?(still don't know how they haven't got more in the bank though after the 2+ years of decent cashflow)

Re: The way things are going... Although Norman Williams flagged up the poorer copper grades and low copper price in his reassuringly upbeat report on Q1 2015 results on December 9th, I think the turn of events means we need more information from Management, particularly - 1] In what way has the situation worsened in less than 2 months from being upbeat in December to now, 7 weeks later, with staff layoffs etc., the news of which has resulted in the share price falling by a third in one trading day, making in all a total fall of a half since the December report?2] What is the Company's view of the current SP (12-13p) at the time of writing? Are the Directors content that this represents a fair SP for the company's assets or, with its cash reserves etc, do they consider the SP to undervalue the company's assets?3] If they consider the company to be grossly undervalued, what plans (if any) do they have to bolster the SP before the low SP attracts the attention of asset strippers etc., encouraged by what may seem like lacklustre performance by Management?

Re: The way things are going... Don't think there will be much left after paying a couple of exec's redundency payments!!Very, very dissapointed with Rambler and so much for "Big Ships" leaving port! Absolutely laughable, I am beggining to prepare myself for a 100% loss here or even share suspension until sometime in another decade sometime in the future.I truly hope I am wrong and Rambler become a shining light and end up delivering.Regards KM

Re: Really? Only need about a 120% rise now to get back to break even....Has anyone ever had a reply from this lot ? I have never once had a reply from emailing them.I seem to remember in a statement a while back seeing something about Rambler being cash flow positive with copper at around 1.50$ a pound or am I going mad ?Lastly does anyone know where all the 2 and a bit years cashflow and profit has gone ? 6.5$ mil in the bank currently seems a bit low for all the supposed money that has been made.
