Re: Tariffs No need to worry, they will go broke before it becomes a real issue...Deep
Tariffs Tariffs on Mexican, Chinese and Canadian manufactured pallets could a potential issue here.
Re: Were are all the orders?????? 46GCould be because it is not a new product..Deep
Were are all the orders?????? So for a fantastic new product the orders don't seem to be flooding in Oct 2016 global leader in temperature-controlled warehousing. It is anticipated that the agreement will require over 200,000 palletsNov exclusive commitment from Pactiv LLC no volume quoted. This agreement is consistent with previous announcements in which we stated that a number of customer announcements were in the pipeline, consisting of both outright sales and lease agreements...When are these orders commitments coming in... ?Im a long term holder but beginning to get worried that the market is not buying this new innovation....
Re: Finally light at the end of the tunn... BBNot one for me, I fund my retirement from my investments so although I take a longer term view I probably have a lower overall risk thresholdDeep
Re: Finally light at the end of the tunn... Thanks DeepI have exposure via 2 Woodford funds, and a small direct holding - and for me £20k in one stock is enough (with a few, frankly mad, exceptions). I do like to have a few long-term high risk direct equity positions, this being one of them. I'd also declare a (minor) business connection with Neil W. Also, lets not pretend this will be a steady as she goes type investment, so really not suitable for many.Best wishes all
Re: Finally light at the end of the tunn... BBYou are right that if Woodford agreed with me he would have sold if possible although given the SP movements on a few hundred thousand shares traded yesterday I am not sure that is a realistic option for him given his 100M shares. Also if he agreed with me he would never have bought in the first place!!I believe the additional equity issue being considered is of £10m of additional preference shares. These were they to be on the same terms as previous will have a 9% coupon. Although the payment of the coupon is not essential it will be hard to keep on rolling it up as a deferred liability.Be interested to know the scale of investment you have or would consider in RM2Good luck with it anywayDeep
Re: Finally light at the end of the tunn... I guess I just have a different view to you, as- if your point was valid, then Woodford would have sold. The fact is they haven't- a further equity issue would not lead to an increased need for cashSo, like Neil Woodford's company, I'd choose to stay invested, or make a modest investment, as I think this has good mid-term prospects.KR
Re: Finally light at the end of the tunn... BBEven the company admits it will have to raise cash. Woodford has already supported a placing and currently is sitting on an unrealised loss of circa 40% and £15 to £20M so may not be so keen to repeat the performance.Other options mentioned will increase cash burn to pay rent and/or interest.Would not recommend an investment in RM2Deep
Re: Finally light at the end of the tunn... Cash burn will reduce as product has now been heavily refined, and product starts to sell itself by referrals and eventual market leading position. Woodford's funds are also likely to back an equity fund raising (e.g. placing). So prospects from a cash perspective are looking much better for 2017+.Sales are now coming through, and each will contribute towards the fixed costs of the business, hence profitability. There's a huge potential market to be exploited - and think the patents are solid enough to avoid copycats, so strong competitor position. So too early to say this is heading back to the issue price, but looks a fair investment case to me.All the above is just my view of course, and conflicting angles are welcome.Best of luck all
Re: Finally light at the end of the tunn... 46I have watched these with fascination since reading the IPO documentation and thankfully body swerving the train wreck. The involvement of Woodford does give RM2 some credibility but not enough to tempt me to get invested. My prognosis remains as posted on 28th September, RM2 cannot get away from the underlying truth that cash is king. Selling family silver of real estate and pallet pool and/or issuing preference shares may give some respite but will add to the rate of cash burn.Good luck with your investment [down 8% today]Deep
Re: 20% up today so far Recognition that despite the early hiccup the potential here is massive. Heading back to float price.Such a heavyweight group behind this with Sir Mr Rose on board and Neil Woodford holding a sizeable stake.Enjoying the ride. Good luck a
