What more can they do? Agreed. But value remains unloved, because, I suppose “growth†is doing so well. MR Bassi has now suggested somebody might take over the company.
What more can they do? Recent pattern of improving performance continues…divi up, cost of debt down, solid profits, very high occupancy, showing how to operate a mixed portfolio through a perilous political scenario. Yet still some 25% below NAV. The fascination this share has for 50/52p is astounding. Just have to enjoy near 7% returns I guess! Keep going Mr Bassi. PB.
Still undervalued? First quarter dividend up 7% from last year. Amazingly still priced at 20% below NAV, according to the final results. The company handling Brexit and property slowdown very well so far, although key man and major shareholder Mr Bassi is crucial. PB
Quality shining through Final results as impressive as I hoped. 96% occupancy, Nav up 0.6%, cost of debt average down from 4.2 to 3.7% and covered dividend up by 14%. After results Finance Director bought more shares.
Looking perky But I don’t like the share spread. There just isn’t any liquidity in the market these days, it’s hard to buy and sell the smaller stuff…
Looking perky Made a first purchase of RLE today. I’ve taken a beating on NRR and PCA, but I’ve always been a glutton for punishment. I like the director ownership and share purchases…
Looking perky Drooping…
Looking perky Probably somebody’s intuition foresaw the recent update!
Looking perky …right now. What’s the reason for this, I wonder?
Positioned for resilience I suspect that Brexit talks will create a major market swing or two before/at March 2019. Particularly vulnerable are UK property shares. After reviewing mine I have retained RLE as the profitability, close to full occupation, moderate debt/ NAV and high dividend give me comfort it should ride out storms. Mr Bassi and team have done a fine job in the last few years I think.
New website How are you all finding it? On another topic; the comparisons now automatically brought up do not flatter RLE, do they?
Re: Annual Meeting I didn't go, either. I said there was a 50% chance of my going because I thought I felt something coming on yesterday afternoon, and, yes, I've got the flu or a heavy cold, or something. Pity, the run up would have been enjoyable on such a beautiful morning. Perhaps next year, God willing!
Re: Annual Meeting Unfortunately I got stuck covering the office, and couldn't make it!
Annual Meeting Tomorrow. 11.00am. I have about a 50% of being at the meeting tomorrow, and if any of you are also there, would be happy to have a chat. I'm about 6ft tall and haggard looking, and will be carrying a light green North Face backpack if I'm there.
Re: tilton... Many thanks for the reply. That's cleared that mystery up. A "Mr Paul Johnson" appears on some shareholder lists, and I thought you might be he.
