RNS director sells Interesting market reaction to interim results.Earlier this morning it appeared that the reaction was unfavourable as profits were marginally down on last year and the price was marked down to sub 150p but has now recovered to a little above yesterdays price. However it seems that investors have noted after reflection that this year the period covered did not include Easter which is a busy time for FX business & also we had the mega hot summer period where people decided to stay at home.In addition there was the additional cost of opening four new shops & kitting out a further four. Overall I feel the results were OK and the present broadly neutral price about right and with the improved but still well covered divi increasing yield to over 5% are a decent value investment.
RNS director sells Interim results are expected on 28th November. The company has done well since listing a couple of years ago and in my opinion is very good value with a PE of sub 10 and should have a yield approaching 5% going forward.Very good balance sheet as well with current assets around three times current liabilities and a large net cash balance and self funded expansion. As one of the few businesses still looking for new retail sites it should be able to get very keen rents on well positioned shops! Like shareordie I am happy to hold and have added a few…
RNS director sells Yes, still in here. Nothing exciting but seems cheap and steady. Share price has just bobbed along but seems to be well run. A hot UK summer seemed to soften the currency sales. But happy to hold
RNS director sells RFX… Hi sharedie. Are you still in this one , and if so happy to hold ?
First one on the board RFX… XXXX I thought fish and chips when i saw this looks good placing 8 Dec 2017 @ 165p . Smart poster in it.
RNS director sells Should have mentioned in a RNS what it was all about
RNS director sells It is a fairly illiquid share, could have been approached at the AGM by an investor wanting in
RNS director sells Not nice to see three in a row, quite a lot sold here. No answer as to why yet.
Rns Slightly ahead of expectations sounds good to me.
Gold Gold is the go-to safe asset class, and in times of uncertainty I would imagine this company doing well.
Re: Placing? Runs=rns
Re: Placing? I take it the holdings runs today is linked to the placing of the shares the other day.[link] think this article explains that the original floatation wasnt a 100% of the company so that explains the placing as it was the remaining stake in the company and not a fund raising.
Re: Placing? Interestingly no new shares were issued. The company didnt benefit in any way, so this is not a normal placing to raise funds. It looks like 30% of the companys shares have just changed hands, and two funds have disposed of all their stock to other institutional investors. Make of that what you will! Could be stake building leading to a bigger transaction I suppose. I guess well get holdings statements next week.
Placing? What is the placing for?Why are the shareholders not involved?
Re: Results It's just advertising I suppose as long as the name gets seen.I always think of chips when I read Ramsdens.Luckily currency, gold and jewelry and loans are more profitable than fish and chips.Tasty investment!
