Re: Remember to turn the lights off... Completely diminishes the credibility of the new regime. Why did King promise something he plainly couldn't deliver? He ought to have kept his mouth shut and let Paul Murray answer the nominated adviser question. This is not about the old regime, it is making brash statement without consulting a lawyer, broker or financial adviser. A matched bargain set up, like the old Plus set up is unacceptable for a company with such a broad based share ownership.

Remember to turn the lights off... Booted off AIM just now as predicted. Only last month Dave King promised a Nomad would be appointed "in a day or so". Guffaw.Good riddance to bad rubbish. Newtothisgame - are we still yawning....?

Not sure you really get it.Without a public market to raise funds from Rangers will have to either a) cut their cloth dramatically so revenues cover costs or b) rely on private individuals to bankroll them. Dave King may be many things but even he isn't rich or stupid enough to throw his fortune into a loss making money pit.

Suspension of trading on AIM The Company has been informed that its Nominated Adviser ("NOMAD" does not believe that it can satisfy the London Stock Exchange in relation to its NOMAD obligations in respect of the appropriateness of the Company's securities to be admitted to AIM, and therefore the NOMAD has resigned as Nominated Adviser to Rangers with immediate effect. Accordingly Rule 1 of the AIM rules for Companies will apply, and trading in the Company's AIM securities will be suspended with immediate effect. If the Company is not able to restore trading within one month, admission of the Company's securities to AIM will be cancelled.

Bye bye PLC No news yet on the appointment of a new NOMAD. I believe they have until the 6th or 7th of April to get this sorted and then they automatically get booted off AIM. As a private company they will struggle to raise cash and I wonder if their supply of dodgy tax evaders and overseas crooks will be enough to keep the lights on.Tick tock tick tock...

Boo yer team are rubbish.And you all know it.Next season,in the Championship,will not be any easier,especially if Hibs do not actually gain promotion!!Plus a Motherwell or St Mirren dropping in with the golden parachute will be a force to be reckoned with.QE.

He was probably the cheapest available manager with experience who would go anywhere near Rangers at this time. How would his reception have been if he had come direct from relegation struggling Motherwell?QE.

Then again, Celtic rewarded the thugs from Amsterdam with a tour round their stadium on their release from jail, including the one who boasted on being on active service duty whilst taking up a sniper position with a balaclava on. McColl well,at least he is a football manager.Unlike the 2 previous trumpets.Suspect the rot has been in for far too long with the present squad of under performing duds.Doubt,very,very much Rangers will be playing in the top tier next season.But,sometimes miracles can happen,just look at Lourdes!He may engineer a short term revival,a honeymoon period,for a couple of months,tops.My money is on Hibs.Then again,it is even more likely to be a Terry Butcher at Hibs scenario.They could finish in 3rd place.McColl will do a job for Rangers but it will be next season,he needs to bring in a squad of new players.QE.
