Superb performance What is there not to like about REDD? The results for the last six months are top notch and lood set to continue. I like income stocks and this one is head and shoulders above anything else I hold. It's likely to be in the region of 15% in total for this year! Unfortunately my holding is small but who is complaining?Casa.

That will do nicely. The Board has declared an interim dividend of 4.00 pence per share payable on 26 March 2015 to those shareholders on the register on 6 March 2015.

Re: Profit taking by II's Hi RosycheeksWithout knowing the value or % of your REDDE position I have in my spreadsheet the running values but beside that a constant guage as to the exposure of that position against the overall portfolio.I guess our risk levels are all different but I can see / review when a position gets to more than 10% of overall portfolio and then ask myself whether I am happy with that % because it may have become fully valued at that point & decide to reduce a litttle of that weightling back down to say 4, 5 or 6%.If your happy with the risk of having all your eggs in 4 or 5 shares and focus just on them then that's also fine with you but I am thinking this year I am looking to reduce the number of companies I hold but also keep a closer eye if I get too overweight in one or two.How happy would you be if one of your 30-50% weighting on your overall portfolio tanked for some reason.Don't want to tell you how to suck eyes when your happy with things.GLTA

Re: Profit taking by II's Hi IOMINVESTCOM, I am a little interested in your % balance theory. I will admit to being a modest investor, I used to invest in blocks of around £3000 and as you know 'you win some and you lose some' so my holdings are all over the place % wise, REDDE or as it was Helphire was unfortunately an exception to the rule, Helphire was on my 'watch list' and when it sunk to sub 1p I could resist the temptation no longer and I invested a bit of divi cash that was lying in my account, picking up almost 500,000 at .6p I did take a few of the 2.5p offer to make it up to 500,000 which put my investment closer to £3000. This 500,000 now 50,000 holding is now my largest block. To sell any would put a lot of cash into my account but I would lose the potential for the further gains that I believe are possible. I should add also, that I have already got my original investment back in dividends, so, in for free.

Re: Profit taking by II's Hi Rosycheeks,Thanks for comments - re-balancing my % within portfolio is something I look at quite often to ensure it does not exceed 10%. >>but you don't jump off a winning horse unless you need the cash or have something else to invest inYou can't be sure that that winning horse will not fall at the next fence and to bank a little profit along the way either for something else offering better opportunities or re-invest when the market pullback allows. Even in the best companies get to a fully valued point for that time. Nice to get into a position if you can to take out your initial investment and leave the rest for free to travel that long distance. I can give you a number of shares that have given back large % that were doing very well that turn lower for a period and then in hindsight better to have sold some or all. ie SGP, PRES, PLE, TUNG, OPAY, UTW, FXI, FDP that springs to mind.Good to have differing viewpoints that may get others posting their views for all to consider constructively.Have a good weekend RCGLTA

Re: Profit taking by II's Interesting response IOMINVESTCOM but you don't jump off a winning horse unless you need the cash or have something else to invest in. The big boys, dealing in many millions of shares at a time can afford to adjust their holdings but REDDE has a long way to go yet for the average investor and I, like many others, will be with it all the way.

Re: Profit taking by II's Hi Rusty Jock,As you say very sensible to rebalance their weighting, something we all should look at within our own portfolio so not too heavy in one position. GLTA

Re: Profit taking by II's Henderson & Aviva reducing slightly , probably rebalancing their holdings after the recent run up.Quite normal.Investec adding slightly taking them over 28% . HUGE CONVICTION.Woodward also big holder .Nothing negative here at all IMHO .

Re: Profit taking by II's I read these notices but I must confess that I am baffled, I guess that it is a standard form that is published but why can't it be put out in laymans language so that the details can be understood.

Profit taking by II's Wondering whether the news today is signs of large institutions taking a little profit here.98p seems to hard to break over the last few days. Assuming Invesco are banking profit.Anyone with a view on these at this level?GLTA

Re: Star performer That is correct, duringthewar, thank goodness. To understand the comment, you need to be familiar with the recent events at Quindell.Casa.

Re: Star performer I don't understand the reference to Rob Terry? He has absolutely nothing to do with this company?

casabanker 23 Dec 2014

Star performer REDDE has been a star performer since I bought my holding here less than twelve months ago. I actually bought it as I liked the dividend yield but did not expect stellar growth too. There's a chap called Rob Terry and he has quite a stash. I hope he isn't the party showing a major interest in REDDE, lol. He's got previous - experience that is, of running a similar operation.I'd love to read his version of his CV. Great progress, REDDE, please keep it up!Casa.
