SP The thing which kills the SP (or one of them) is dilution and discounted placings. Results statement is that we are currently 'fully funded', so this risk is reduced. Timing of revenue growth then seems to me critical -- let's face it, this is a risky punt, but isn't that why we are here?To me it feels like we are bumping along the bottom, and in this market you don't seem to get the benefit of the doubt -- they want to see profits, or cast iron evidence of imminent same.

Re: RNS - trading update Unfortunately Redt is really going nowhere except down as they have accomplished very little indeed and with a market cap of £60 million are vastly overvalued and loosing millions each year.Although their product is good there is a load of competition out there. Look at Flowgroup who have a green energy boiler-price gone from 45p ish to 1p when they don't sell any.Redt could well go the same way in my view. In any event it is going to take years to get to a profit.Best to seel or avoid until they start making progress, can't live on hope.

Re: RNS - trading update it is all about getting a foot hold....lets hope we are not left behind....

Re: RNS - trading update I wouldn't/don't have expected any profit for some time. This is a new and developing market. Now is about getting a foothold and market share.

Re: RNS - trading update Profit or profitability are a dirty words at RED.ws

RNS - trading update A very interesting background review of the changing market that shows how Redt's position is changing as the knowledge in the users develops - mentioning difference between power storage and energy storage as a key aspect. They have a good pipeline going forward it would seem although buried in there is an observation of sales being slightly slower than expected. This is a slow start rather than anything more troubling. Still waiting for the SP inflection point where the downtrend is broken, but may top up soon.

redT energy launches UK Agri-Product Offering This is for power farms that want to store energy to use themselves or back into grid at peak times for better price. Redt say 10 year pay back and since battery lasts 25 years 15 years of profit.[link]

AGM 13th July 2017 Would love to go but no time anyone from here going. I have spotted plenty of other companies selling flow batteries the price is Redt thing being the cheapest but most others looking at increasing power at the membrane.

Re: Freebee I don't have any idea about revenues, there's not enough information in the results to let me even make a guess. What I can say is that there are revenues to come from both of the South African deployments, as well as the 10kW-75kWh & 60kW-300kWh orders received in 2017, as both of these were for delivery in 2017, and in the notes they state that, "Revenue from system sales is recognised when the system has been delivered, installed, and fully commissioned (system fully operating). "Hope someone else can offer something more enlightening.ArtjiP.S. weren't you active on another board I was posting on, many years ago? I seem to remember making a comment about a fellow Spurs fan.

Re: Freebee Hi mate..what sort of revenues or sales prices would these projects tz gain for RED .?

Re: Freebee "News is encouraging, even the fact that they don't feel the need to RNS orders for multiple units, although you would have thought this was significant."Chip, this is from the results, released 24th April. I thought when reading it that it was strange they hadn't RNS'ed it. As you say, that's encouraging in itself.Below is a summary commercial update of redT deployments and post year end orders to date: -- Production & Deployments: Thaba Eco Lodge, Jabil Inala, University of Strathclyde, The Olde House (equivalent to 9 x redT tank unit modules) -- 2017 Orders: 1 x 10kW-75kWh & 1 x 60kW-300kWh machines (equivalent to 5 x redT tank unit modules) -- Letter of Intent: Signed with a UK energy project developer with potential 490MW of grid connected sites -- Final Stage of Customer Selection: EUR6.5m [25 x 60kW-300kWh & 1 x 5kW-20kWh (equivalent to 101 x redT tank unit modules)] Not invested here, but watching closely,Artji

Re: Freebee These stations are emergency bases and have some sort of backup might not happen at all but they do like to offset the carbon usage and now they have a foot in the door who knows.

Chip_Scashtin 04 May 2017

Re: Freebee It's a lifeboat maintenance/manufacturing depot with high electricity consumption, so we aren't going to see RedT batteries in every seaside town. That said, the RNLI wouldn't install the thing if it wasn't worth having. News is encouraging, even the fact that they don't feel the need to RNS orders for multiple units, although you would have thought this was significant.

Re: Freebee Speaking to Clean Energy News this morning, McGregor said '“We believe now it is now commercial in the UK, we’ve got the right price for the system so it’s economic,” He added that redT had recently received orders from an agricultural finance group for 300kWh units “who are getting paybacks they are happy with”.Interesting that its 300kwh unitS (plural) how many????

dunekiller 03 May 2017

Re: Freebee If the RNLI do like the battery backup even at a cost price the publicity alone would be worth it and have the batteries in open to the public life boat stations would be great.
