NHS Digital has selected Redcentric on an initial three-year agreement with the option to extend for a further three years. With HSCN triggering the shift in architecture from the current single-supplier N3 network to a disaggregated supplier model, the Peering Exchange will effectively act as a 'super switch': multiple Consumer Network Service Providers (CN-SPs) will supply connectivity to end users and interconnect their networks at multiple Peering Exchange points to form a single logical network. Dermot Ryan, HSCN Programme Director for NHS Digital, said: "We are pleased to have awarded this contract to Redcentric, following a competitive procurement process. The Peering Exchange is a critical component of the HSCN infrastructure and the contract is a significant step forward in establishing an HSCN marketplace of assured network services. This marketplace will drive competition amongst suppliers, improve consumer choice, support innovation and deliver value for money. The Peering Exchange will allow HSCN customers, who are using different network suppliers, to reliably communicate by interconnecting multiple supplier networks. It is an important step in the migration from N3 to HSCN and will enable more opportunities for collaboration and support digital transformation which enhances health and social care." Re: cooking nicely Seems to be in a trading range just now,never wants to break through the pound mark.I noticed yesterday morning,somebody bought 29999 shares and sold 3/4 hour later for £700 profit. Still,should be good for the longer term,reckon Jim Slater was still probably right with this one..I'll buy on the dips so long as there is no bad news!

Coltrane Asset Management buys more I see that Coltrane Asset Management today announce that they have crossed the 12% threshold. I take that to be a further vote of confidence by an ii.My original modest holding is still down by around 50%. But I am in profit overall by more than £10k, so I'm well pleased.

Re: RNS interims Reads well. But I (no expert at accountancy) don't know what to make of the EPS and stsutory profit figures, which don't look thrilling at face value.Clearly a work in progress. It will be interesting to see what Mr Market makes of it.I have a large holding, am in overall profit having bought on the dips, and am definitely holding for the long term.

IBM & RCN data centres "IBM is tripling the number of data centers it has in the U.K., bolstering one of the businesses it’s counting on for growth and giving the British economy a vote of confidence after the country elected to leave the European Union."IBM has declared two new data centres in Fareham and Farnborough in addition to its current two. Two more to be declared next year. RCN data centres would be a great fit? Particularly with sterling down vs dollar and they have the benefit of acquiring a profitable organisation with trained staff?
