Re: 1.1M buy Thanks for that. Thought someone must be selling as the price hadn't gone up.There were a lot of transactions at 10.97 which I presumed were buys (as I bought a few at that price on Thursday).

Re: Newsflow .. Mine Inauguration Ceremony - 21/7/17:[link] mining activity at Gasagwe continues to make great progress in readiness for the commissioning of our processing plant and first sales of rare earth concentrate as planned in Q4 this year. The commencement of production at Gakara is timely as market prices for rare earths have strengthened significantly in the period since Rainbow's IPO and these increases will directly impact our anticipated sales revenues."

Excellent RNS As expected. Unfortunately the media haven't picked up on it. RBW remain on target for the extraordinary feat of selling concentrate within a year of their IPO.Newsflow is all important for the share price during this early process though, I've topped up a little, when I really was hoping to take some profit around now and top up again in a lesser news period over the summer. You never know, just one article based on this RNS in the right place could add 50% to the share price in no time at all.

Re: RBW Latest Copied these two paragraphs from my previous post because my weak buy rec didn't take for some reason, and I wanted to bring attention to how volatile the share price in a company of this kind of size can be - and if you're in a position to take some profit, you effectively get to hold a good prospect at a much lower rate (if you choose to account for your book values in that way)."One positive article somewhere like the Motley Fool will see something like a 50% rise in share price in a company this small, over the course of two or three days, which will then drop back again. If that happens, be ready to have some stock to sell and then re-buy when the price falls back, is my advice. I've seen it happen time and again.I've given a WEAK BUY because if it drops below @12p I'll buy more myself for the reason just given. If I didn't already have a holding I'd pay the current price of @12.8p to get some flesh in the game, because one never knows when the right article will fall in the right place with very positive results, short term, for the share price. RBW Latest [link] little changed in the latest presentation (which I hadn't seen and was only aware of due to Rhodium's post) from the one given along with the IPO 3 or 4 months ago. I thought I'd put it in a more obvious separate thread all the same.Basically 3 pages added, one of which is a photo of a newly kitted out and trained workforce, but very little play on that, plus a few details changed or added. Two updates to the project economics figures after I posted about them being incorrect. The latest one has resulted in the capital expenditure figures rising by about 10%, but at least they make more sense now. (Its a bit worrying how sloppy that quite important page was in the initial presentations, and only updated later). The addition of graphs showing the uses of NdPr increasing and NdPr prices rising is good. I'm not surprised price wasn't included in the first presentation, because they're really coming off lows from the previous quarter. This rise is only about 10% over 1Q2017, so hardly rocketing upwards like commodities can do, and indeed some metals involved with Electric Vehicles (EVs), like cobalt, are doing. There's been a lot of talk about EV production in China and EU growing at a faster clip than previously predicted in the last few weeks. No sign of such news having any impact on RBW as yet (probably a bit early to tie its potential production to actual finished products just yet!). They should get it into the next presentation though. It would be nice if they gave some indication of how much NdPr goes into E.g. an EV engine, in the same way that Glasberg and Glencore recently did:"Glencore CEO Ivan Glasenberg says the rise of electric cars will significantly boost demand for minerals including copper and lithium in the coming decades.Electric vehicles require more copper wiring than standard internal combustion engines; for example, the battery in an electric car contains ~38 kg of copper, 11 kg of cobalt and 11 kg of nickel, and Glasenberg says those materials, along with maganese [sic - manganese they mean. GLEN produce all these metals, except lithium, which I hope they steer clear of- Eadwig], stand to benefit from more demand for electric cars.European sales of alternative fuel vehicles, which include fully electric cars and hybrid vehicles, jumped 36% Y/Y during Q1 to more than 235K. "Back to RBW. Its a shame that 'early production' is still being talked about in the future tense. I'm sure it has started now. I'd like to see an RNS confirming that given the presentation has promised us a regular and positive newsflow. It really is essential to keep the share price up.It looks like this presentation is basically the update for the quarter also. So the fact it wasn't really picked up by the media means it could be some time before there's another chance for the media to have something new to talk about. One positive article somewhere like the Motley Fool will see something like a 50% rise in share price in a company this small, over the course of two or three days, which will then drop back again. If that happens, be ready to have some stock to sell and then re-buy when the price falls back, is my advice. I've given a WEAK BUY because if it drops below @12p I'll buy more myself for the reason just given. If I didn't already have a holding I'd pay the current price of @12.8p to get some flesh in the game, because one never knows when the right article will fall in the right place with very positive results, short term, for the share price.

Re: Great prospects here Eadwig, "Consequently I expect the next big rise to be Friday May 10th "Thursday May 10th, that should have read. It didn't happen, nor did the RNS. In fact I haven't seen any report from the presentation as yet. Looks like the media didn't pick it up, basically.

Re: Great prospects here To be pedantic, I'm not certain about that spud. RBW chose an LSE listing type that allows them to not have to disclose the same amounts of info as a premium listed company (for 'premium' read standard.)Sorry I can't be clearer, but its in the IPO document and although I never took part in the IPO I did read it later. Even so, and the fact that it was relatively recently, I simply don't have enough memory cells to retain such information (I'm not sure I ever did) in any detail. It doesn't concern me though. I think you're probably right about the RNS whether they are required to release it or not because I believe this company absolutely understands the importance of newsflow in the context I posted about.I think they'll make as big a splash as possible surrounding the presentation, and I'm hopeful that gets picked up by other news media such as the more serious newspaper's business sections as well as the more general investing sites. The telegraph did a big piece on the chairman just prior to the float, so they have every reason to at least report a paragraph - assuming RBW send them along a press release. If I were attending, I'd write and send them out myself to get word around. IPO to production of pay dirt (as yet unprocessed, but being stock-piled) in 3 and a half months is surely extraordinary enough to be worth a mention. I'm assuming its all gone ahead as scheduled here, but given the simplicity of the project, I can't see any reason why it wont have done. Recruitment of workers was mentioned as underway in the last presentation a month or so ago, so I think its a safe assumption.

Re: Great prospects here Eadwig, I agree with what you are saying, but the golden rule is no new news can be used at a presentation and has to be rns'd prior to release.I hope/ expect an rns tomorrow or Tuesday
