Next funding for QFI I expect there to be a mix of new money taking a stake, potentially from a partner, and an OO involving pi’s and ii’s. It will depend though on the route we expect to go early doors. Licence or BOO model. BOO will involve a greater up front investment by QFI in the partnership for example. I think we will go for say two to three years funding of the lower cost licence model, with good news about progress underpinning the fundraise. Leaving the option to raise more, maybe through partners or debt, as we go to put BOO in place in specific applications. And as news lifts sentiment and derisks the company.

Next funding for QFI The last few funding have been under written mainly by PI and the last funding was a few £100ks short of there main target of £2m. Lately there has been a number of RNS’s over the last 3 quarters partnering with organisation we hope will move onto production. Very positive news Clearly QFI are again running out of money what is everyones thoughts on a new funding should it be more focused on II investors and even maybe all our new partners? Also should the next funding if focused on II be bigger say £10m+ to stop the company having to come back to the market so often? Last week VLS raised £7m of which £2.8m came from early partners Shell and BA

Boom! My money burned a hole in my pocket and I took a few more here I figure that lth’s will see a price that they perceive as attractive for taking some more in the expectation of imminent news. In that scenario buying will quickly move us up again I Might have jumped the gun a bit, but I reckon not by much

dustofnations 03 Jul 2019

Boom! Sorry, not entirely sure what you mean. MK has only been executive chairman for 3 years or so, and was on reduced wages for a while. He has options for far, far more shares than he currently holds, but hasn’t executed them as the strike prices are above the current market price. Also, company employees take plenty of risk by being employed at QFI (i.e. could lose their jobs) – so investing huge amounts of equity into your main job is potentially risky, especially pre-commercial.

Lastemporer 03 Jul 2019

Boom! Did I read this wrong? our CEO only holds 0.06% of the shares / company …?

Cash Burn QFI is a technology company in my eyes and not a oil or mineral explorer [link]

Ripley94 28 Jun 2019

Cash Burn I see UJO went for one today . That is the way of these AIM shares. Not one for you going by your other posts Lastemporer.

Boom! Yes indeed, exciting times and good luck to us all. In the meantime it will be interesting if this Monday’s SP follows the same pattern as the last - there’s going to be other dips without news and i’ll be making a small top up if and when it does - I’ve put a buy order in for 20,000 @ 6.10p as I’m away all next week and you never know I might get lucky. Have a good weekend

Cash Burn Time will tell!

terence.mcguire 28 Jun 2019

Cash Burn I think something is fishy - if (only if) a similar falling off a cliff happens today (Fri - 28/06/19). I’m sceptical but fascinated that it seems to have followed the same trajectory as last week. I have sold half my holding (all profit) on the chance I can bag more if the drop happens. If not…I bagged some profit. Not that bad is it? Mr P

Boom! Filling it slowly Norris107 Filling it surely Filling it with purpose This is an AIM miracle story developing if what we believe is just around the corner By the way that 14 x 400Mwe boiler gensets earns us 50p per share by my reckoning, and that’s just one KSA power station (mind its a big one) Loads more very serious prospects out there that we are progressing as you know Good luck here chap, we long term holders deserve it

Norris107 27 Jun 2019

Boom! Exactly Fillpott, on all counts - I am looking to the long term, I didn’t have a crystal ball and so sat tight and just wished that I had one after the event but I didn’t torture myself either as I was otherwise occupied with family and didn’t watch the dip! As you say " One deal is all that it will take to start the dominoes clicking away". And when that happens you will be on the way to becoming “Fullpot”!

Fillpot 27 Jun 2019

Boom! Well Norris107 Your crystal ball would have needed to have predicted 1) the top at close to 8p 2) the bottom at 5.5p (to buy) And just to have made how many new shares? Assuming you had reinvested of course I suspect that you are looking to the longer term like me when we have perhaps 14 x 400Mwe boiler gensets producing power for KSA/Q8 on our fuel MSAR? 6or 7p will seem very far away then Right now we are in a good place, incentivising the partners that can get us the deals sealed. One deal is all that it will take to start the dominoes clicking away. One deal for power in ME and we are on the way to becoming what we wished for when we started investing here.

dustofnations 26 Jun 2019

Cash Burn I think the most distilled answer is that the market is not rational in the short term (see: behavioural economics).

Norris107 26 Jun 2019

Boom! “That correction seems a bit oversold now today” I didn’t anticipate a 29% drop Fillpot! I was actually in profit for a while there! Wish I had a crystal ball - but yesterday’s strong finish is continuing again today albeit there’ll be a lot more AIM related games and ups and downs before this ride is over .
