Re: Sapinda of the east? Ano, Ma is just worrying that management have not turned the corner. The Board has quality people on board and particularly in wee Phil, Pat P and Angus. Those boys could smell a crook from a long distance and would not have dealt with the bent Lars Windholm.
Re: Sapinda of the east? ND...all this negativity is doing nobody any good!!!
Re: Sapinda of the east? Ano, Ma is worrying too much. APEC are huge, awash with moolah and an ideal partner. Should be helpful in sourcing a rig too.
Re: Sapinda of the east? As APEC are a private company, Id guess that they dont have to file anything so that is probably why there is limited information. But we do know from the announcement in March that COSL are a subsidiary of CNOOC and JIC are a subsidiary of China Investment Corporation, and both of these are huge Chinese state owned companies. As for TOR doing due diligence, I dont think that a deal of this magnitude would have been a solo run - surely, it would have been a board decision?MAMMS..I see you have stopped signing your posts as you used to in the past!
Re: Sapinda of the east? Hi ND, I know you can't reply on that because there is nothing to APEC except a bunch of photos on their website. If there is some communication from the Chinese Government authorising JIC and COSL to participate then I will have comfort but right now, I'm feeling very uneasy.... I hope ToR has done his due diligence...
Re: Sapinda of the east? Thanks ND. Do you have a link to something or what is that based on? I have been looking at them and I am getting more and more skeptical.
Re: Sapinda of the east? Ma, APEC are a totally different beast to the sulphur smelling Sapinda who hadnt a pot to pee in. APEC balance sheet is positively glowing with health and they have a serious cred facto
Sapinda of the east? I've been looking at APEC and there is not much about them online. I know they are aligned to COSL (whose rigs all appear spoken for btw) and some Chinese investment bank no one has ever heard of.... I was looking at the Directors too, that Christopher Mustafa Kirwan is an odd choise for the board - his expertise seems to be on some architectural design schemes.... [link] seems odd
Re: Amazing opportunity Tis as sure as Shell!
Re: Amazing opportunity this is sure .....
Re: Amazing opportunity Sir A/S, Providence has knocked the stuffing out of us long sufferers so all a wee bit unsure if the years of fallow are in the past. Following Chinese money aint a foolish road.....
Re: Amazing opportunity PVR has repetitional issues but the rehabilitation is occurring starting with the chinese ... no fools I think we all agree ..... you guys were all too confident when you shouldn t and now when you should start to feel not the heat but the suggestion of heat ... you are getting scared ...
Re: Amazing opportunity I do hope you guys are right, however, I will make another prediction. Either the SP won't really move after completion or it will rise 8% or something only to fall back again in the days after. Sorry guys but remember what happened when this long-awaited deal was announced. Poor Sobeit was waiting for Godot and now he is no more sadly (at least he has not posted in months now which is totally unlike him).
Re: Amazing opportunity 20p easy on completion imho and not long to wait plus some more farm out drills to look forward to.Senn
Re: Amazing opportunity I happen to know a one eyed Albanian goat ... he told me to "watch this space"!
