No idea of whet the breakeven points on any of those would be. Hopefully they find enough oil in each to make it worthwhile.

The idea is that the operating profits from the first 3-4years will be sufficient to cover the initial capex costs. Hence the capex has been paid back after the 3-4 years.

Keep hearing €40 per barrel. Assume this is opex. Think the payback on the capex is 3-4 years. So blue sky after that for another 20 odd years. Think everyone else would be interested to keep the Russians and Saudis out. The question is whether the field is as attractive as it's supposed to be, compartmentalisation/fracturing is supposed to be causing uncertainty over the above figures.

Morning Spuddy, between Barryroe, Spanish Point and Dunquin, lots of good news should be coming our way. It's just a matter of WHEN ??? Saudis have taken policy decision to keep oil prices low at c $80 a barrel. Think this is to reduce competition from fracking, so prices should stay at this level for next 12 months anyway. Been in this share in a small way for over 10 years. Have gone large in last year. It will rocket on news, just hope can hold on long enough

@ Spuddy / Godot - apologies, it was Godot's view of info and share dealing.

@ Spuddy / Godot - think Spuddy right in his view of info and share dealing. I asked a friend of mine who is business editor for one of the national newspapers if he had heard anything. His response was you won't hear anything until they announce, as all the oil companies keep their info locked down. My view is deal very close or done but awaiting regulatory approval. Fingers crossed, JR

In terms of information I would love to get more but unfortunately I believe the CEO has his hands tied with that by stock market regulations, similarly that is why no Directors have been buying shares. We recently have seen bullboy ramping the stock but I also believe there are a lot of posters on here who must be making money when the sp goes down as a lot of scare mongering goes on.

Hey Spuddy, been in this for a long time as well. I think that the sp is so low because small shareholders have lost faith or gotten scared and have been consistently selling out. With all thats been happening in the world with opec, russia etc its been a hard market to get a deal and although I believe the company was always negotiating away a lot of people took the chance that with no news this share would only go one way. For me though I don't think the overall asset has devalued and now that a deal is hopefully nearing I expect the sp to go sky high once a deal is announced,

Its Bullboyj reincarnated!

People need to be patient. We are selling an asset. That means we need to wait for interested parties to come to us. You can't force them to buy it.
