I agree with you Spuddy. I am thinking the same way you are. I hope you are right. As I say, I do not know how I would react to some good news if I heard it. Probably would not believe it. LOL
Obviously someone has been buying the shares that Lloyds and anybody else is selling. Is it possible that someone residing in the Bahamas has bought back shares that were sold earlier before News is released on the Barryroe Farm Out. Using a couple of front companies to purchase these shares would allow the owner to remain below the radar i.e. sub 3% holdings. Sequa´s Bond Offering will close completely in early June when we will know how much of the remaining 96M Dollars of Bonds have been sold. With Landsdowne up for sale, Fastnet looking at mergers or acquisitions and Providence awaiting its potential farmanee (likely Sequa) to raise funding, news shortly is possible
its only one out of a dozen II's involved here...there is no logic to the movement of this share price...lets not panic...
no he talks about singleton which they sold
think it is an old one though it says Publication date : 05/21/2015
Hi Desperate - no problem with the delayed response. Out of curiousity how many hours are you behind? Having put money into Providence, I'm obviously a betting man, so will take you up on your wager for €35 stake. I remember the heady days after Exxon farm in to Dunquin was announced and a 100 of today's shares were worth €1,200. Not too long until those days return now .................................... (cue sarcasm).
The website is now back and updated. Lloyds Bank are no longer listed as a major shareholder. They had a listing of 3.13 percent.
I can no longer access the list of shareholders on the Providence Home Page. Maybe they are updating it.
JR - Sorry for slow reply, I operate from a different timezone. I was thinking the value of the bet could €35 (current value of 100 shares which once upon a time were worth €1,200). I have always suspected the game that is being played is the one laid out by Sobeit - the difference is this time a number of vehicles will be employed to hide the fact that O'R Snr/Family is the beneficial owner of the shares. I wouldn't even be surprised if the Llyods buy and sell was preordained. The irony here is, if this is not the game being played there is actually no real future in this share so we're being screwed either way. My preference is that the game is afoot and there is some upside to compensate for all the pain I have already taken!
