Warren Bufett Buy on fear....
Support I can see this back at the 200 day moving average soon around £4 Tech stocks never go in straight lines... this is a company with a great position, strong brand in the sector and strong product. There will be bumps in the road bit it will reward the patient, especially at these levels. Yes the valuation is still high but the potential is higher..

Re: Support? there we go, time to buy
Topped up I see this phrase a lit but what xoes it really mean? For those who use it does it mean youve bouhht more share and at what price and what was ypu last purchase price or are you pumping? For the shorters, if the next financials reflect a boom and I expect they will the cash flow will answer all tje questions of pay £1000 up front and how long is anaverahe sale becaaue they have cornered the bit of the market tjat matters@!
Re: ItÂ’s a good product A good product and a quality company are not necessarily synonomous. What is beyond question is that the directors have done very well for themselves!
Re: You and Yours & Watchdog Topped up this morning at 330p had a few on limit buy orders since market correction .Had reduced from 335p last weekend for safety.Read AFE bb briefly yesterday and saw penhome was posting about shorting .I was going to remove limit but forgot .Interesting to see how it goes.
Re: at 350p chart looks very weak You were very very unfortunate to have your short called in.My feeling is that people underestimate the flexibility, innovation and benefits of bricks and mortar estate agents. I sold my house 14 months ago in Bearsden, Glasgow. At the time the prospect of Scottish independence scared me and Brexit bothered me too. To make matters even more pressing I was moving to Italy, hence, I had a currency rate to worry about. In essence I was selling in a falling market and I wanted the process done quickly. The agent agreed to do the deal at 0.5%. He also suggested using a drone (house fronted on to a Loch). I could log on the agent's site and view all the comments that viewers had made and what their next move was. To cut a long story short, I got 30 viewings in 14 days. They forwarded the final bid date and I got three offers three weeks after the house going on to the market.Just on the viewing logistics alone, Purplebricks couldn't manage that. Whilst it may be ok in a rising market, I don't think they are a ideal trying to sell a house quickly, in a falling market.
at 350p chart looks very weak PURP has taken quite a beating in recent couple of weeks - from 430p to 350pi've not seen any specific news to drive this - we all know re slowing house market and increased competition - so why the fall now.as before it wouldn;t susprise me to see an aggressive bounce from these levelsbut the chart is now firmly below the 200d and the downtrend from the peaks of 540p (i.e. it has fallen 35% from peaks) is now firmly established.it is possible it might bounce from hear but it has regularly struggled to get above previous peaks so i this case i think 430p will be resistance on the way up.as before it'll be interesting to see how this pans out in 2018pity that IG forced me to close at 392p or this would be very nicely in profit!!All IMHO, DYOR + BoL
Re: ItÂ’s a good product So you sold your home with them? Can I ask when you sold it and also how long it took from the for sale going up to completion?
ItÂ’s a good product Selling a house on purplebricks, now I believe the good reviews. The product is great, it works, super efficient. The agent is really friendly and always on hand to help. You can book in appointments with the agent at short notice and the app makes dealing with viewings a breeze. When you consider its about for me 10 times cheaper than an estate agent this is the future. Personally I think the service is cheap, they could charge 5 times the price and it would be a good deal.I suspect thats the strategy, dominate the market and then put up prices. After using them I will never ever ever use a regular estate agent again. Give it 10 years and I think the whole marketplace will be dominated by either purplebricks or a competitor. I think it will be purplebricks. I recently posted on the overpriced model of Foxtons, thats the past this in my opinion is the future.Yes the valuation is high, but so is the potential. This company is quality, buy quality.
Re: anyone else with a short forced clos... "Probably done TFT a favour "..... and me.
Re: anyone else with a short forced clos... Probably done TFT a favour
Re: anyone else with a short forced clos... kiama,His predicament, I may be wrong but will give you a clue - NW = Neil WoodfordNow this is making the assumption that the shares that IG borrowed (and it seems Spread-ex) were from one of NW funds. As I understand it PURP is one of the few shares in WPCT that could be sold to avoid breeching banking covenants........But, as always, DYOR,Regards,Seadoc
Re: anyone else with a short forced closd by... TFT not sure what your predicament has to do with the company... Surely take it up with IG?
