Now we know... ....what David Wright had to do to get the share price up...Leave the building!
Re: On my list. Up 14% @ 8.45 am today the market seems to share mackackoo view of the guy leaving... lol
David Wright retires. Thank God. He promises to get the share price up to £1 in short order, we are below 3p, and he leaves with 'great pride'. Give me strength.
Re: On my list. Not a busy 'board' this. Write up on here by Edmond Jackson 16 Oct 2015 "insider stake-building merit attention " Directors buying significant amount of shares. around the 9p mark I see mackackoo was posting around that time..
Re: Re: Inclined to agree but it seems to be some sort of zombie company these days.
Re: getting to the point were this might actually be worth a punt
Institutional shareholders.... ...need to get together to demand corporate action. The current complacent bunch of time servers need to be replaced. And quickly .
Re: New low The new management structure they have put into place clearly is not working. And - as you point out - nobody in it has sufficient confidence in their abilities to buy shares even at this level.Emma Kane of Red Leaf is the one person involved in this outfit who has vision and a great track record - she would be the obvious person to take over. To think David Wright - who took a huge salary out of this company - once promised to get the share price up to £1 double quick......
Re: New low ...and also out of interest, how low do the shares have to go before directors show a margin of faith in the company by buying a few shares?
New low Out of interest, how low to the shares have to go before the institutional investors push for new management?
Re: On my list. In today @ 3.38p
New management needed Porta isn't an intrinsic basket case, but it clearly needs someone inspiring at the helm now more than ever. Emma Kane?Or is everyone happy that this company that promised to make shareholder value its number one concern is still dragging along the bottom of the sea?
Wake up Given the share price, isn't it time some people started getting sacked?
News please What this bloated top heavy company needs to do is to announce some contract wins, and, if it can't do that, it needs to announce some of its executives are leaving. Executives in this company are never sacked but new ones are brought in to work alongside the old ones when they fail, and when they fail too, still more are brought in. This company has layers upon layers of fat now.
Re: Morton tightens his grip Looks to me as if nothing has changed - previous and new shareholdings are exactly the same. Just moved stuff around within the various family pension and trust schemes.LFG
