Re: Possible offer at 40p I think The Cann Family still have approx. 30% of the stock and a hand full of institutional investors have over 5% of stock - Aberforth is biggest of these with about 15% - making it less than 10 holders accounting for 70% plus percent of shares and hence they are the decision makers here. You must have some network of contacts Verbits to know ''that the majority shareholders will be delighted at the offer or a cash deal@ 40p per share''? 
(I'll bet the guy who wrote that Motley Fool Article doesn't know the thoughts of those Institutional Investors either )

Re: Possible offer at 40p The majority share holders will be delighted at the offer of a cash deal @40p per share, Promethean have come too late to the party with Touch Flat Panel Technology to replace the companies previous generations of interactive whiteboards, costs been another issue to the education sector. With no prospects of been in profit 2015-2016, the out look is bleak and something has to give, the company has all ready been through a major cost cutting exercise through out the company. The current BOD will be under pressure to except the offer considering the circumstances .Netdragon been an on-line gaming developer with a small interest in the education sector are looking to expand this part of the business , in my view Classflow software been the target, hardware is in a very challenging market place and i would imagine this would be ditched eventually.So a sell at this price.

Re: My First ever II message board post Ashley House Board is the place for conversation on this(I've only followed ASH since 2011.. lots of reasons.. turning from good profit making to consistently loss making being the biggest ..Change of direction from broad-based building services to becoming a Care home / NHS small heart of community type specialist has been catastrophic for it.. there has not been money available for such building projects so far, even though the NHS wants to do and has plans for such building etc.)

Re: My First ever II message board post Having looked into this a little I'm not particularly enthused by the offer or offerer. (a fairly new space for them as they're previously mostly an online gaming company and they're far from a big company ) I'm disappointed that PRW has not been able to give us some good contract win news so far this year and so worry a bit that they are not turning the corner.. PRW having another poor year is the only way in my mind that this bid becomes in any way appealing.. and even then I'd say lower than 50p is a non starter.PRW would make most of its new business deals in the next three months and so if they do reject it they should alongside give a business update that stops it falling back into 20's.. Of course, ideally another - more recognised - bidder gets involved also.. (good call again on PRW Lambrini Girl and talk to you on Ashley House board re it.. I hope you got in at 3p.. I'm only even on it now.. where its going next is the question..)

Re: Possible offer at 40p Up 25% on today's unfortunately i caught this falling knife @ 165p .Institutions must have brought at the 200p IPO. short wile before.Didn't the original owners play there hand well. .

Possible offer at 40p Good news for a change.If PRW is experiencing any sort of turnaround this year - which it's management were targeting and me expecting - then I wouldn't see this as a particularly generous offer. Also as this floated 200p 5 years ago long-term holders won't be jumping for joy either (fortunately my average is 25p)However it may be just the start of much fun and games and after endless misery its good to have some favourable action here for a change!

(the five and ten baggers invariably come from penny stocks, and while most are duds you only need one big win per every five bets to be quids in.. hence speculators love them) I hope you're mega wrong on that and I've seen some where you are (e.g. Afren recently) but in fairness plenty where you're right.PRW is one of my biggest bets at the moment and I'm holding my breath for the mid Feb. update. Even semi positive will I expect see this bounce decently. Very positive and it will head back towards 40p. Negative, I don't want to think about.Rob S

I'm very pleased that you are on board here. I see this as limited downside and significant potential upside, if they can just get that sustained turnaround going properly this year. (they flattered to deceive in first quarter last year but in that window went from 20p to 40p.. giving a flavour of the large upside potential... granted then spent the rest of the year disappointing and sp of course sliding back slowly but surely ) Good luck!(Btw does your machine have a view on Ashley House?) My First ever II message board post One of my top five picks for 2015. This stock threatened a meaningful comeback this time last year but that quickly petered out. I have slowly built a decent position here in the hope that this year PRW achieves that sustained comeback. Its year end profit warning did note that its cash position was down towards investing to meet increased demand and the customer deals that didn't get over the line for last year end will hopefully get signed early this year instead.
