Re: Trading update today Hi AR,Of course I have kept the faith! The graph you present only pertains to a period of history relating mainly to the 'orrible' fall. Surely, following the new realism, a revised business plan, and a trading update that is less than 'orrible', we must follow a shorter trend? Over the short-term (2-6 weeks) the outlook is far more promising. I hope that you agree?
Re: Trading update today TP - I agree that recently SP moves have been 'infinitesimal' BUT (and I am assuming here) you seem to have 'kept the faith' in PRM's prospects, and your profit must have seriously eroded (or are you even holding at a loss now?) since the 'orrible' fall in the SP from August last year. Some folks dont seem to think the chart offers anything useful, BUT just look at the little chart below - it is not a pleasant sight. Since late September 'confidence' in PRM has really sunk, and the fact that the SP remains BELOW the 50 day MA is significant for anyone who can get their head around the charts indicators!Lets hope the 2 relatively new BoD members can steer PRM back into profitability, and thus restore confidence in its prospects - a lot to prove, BUT IF/ONCE confidence returns PRM could start to recover very nicely. Taking a pragmatic look at the chart seems vial to me, but, as ever, its all a matter of taste and preference - As ever, Best of Luck -
Re: Trading update today Hi AR,Today's dip is infinitesimal. Similar to recent SP hikes that have been small, but enough to get back close to 5p. A penny share is what we hold now, and any action as regards the SP will be so minimal as to be meaningless. I agree that the bottom line is all important, as only then will we know whether PRM can continue onwards and upwards!
Re: Trading update today TP - ...the Co (AND some of its most ardent investors) seem to be coming to terms with its very poor performance - (and the over bullish view of CP!) That can only be a good thing, and once a bit more reality sets in THAT may well be the time for a strategic buy - BUT (despite the 2 board appointments, which seems to bode reasonably well to me) PRM is STILL loss making, and it isnt surprising to see a small dip initially! The bottom line is vital to prospects (...it amazing that needs to be said), and PRM unfortunately STILL has to get over its dire performance, but sentiment will/should improve reasonably soon - ARPS - the low point recently was 4.6p and it may well take a few good deals to get the SP back to the 200 day MA ie above 10p!!! Sorry to say that is not the mist INSPIRING chart!
Re: Trading update today Agreed. It would appear that investors are finally getting what we deserve - an honest assessment of prospects!
Re: Trading update today In reality we are probably fairly valued,as painful as that may be for us,for the first time in years, or ever !I was pleased to see no talk of possible mega deals & the potential for curing conditions with,as yet, no remedies & if the future shows that we are involved in treatments to help sufferers from AD or any other horrendous conditions then our SP will respond accordingly based on tangible evidence rather than speculation, often encouraged by CP.My investment here remains in the bottom draw & I will decide ,at some point, whether to average down & throw some more hard earned cash at Prm.
Re: Trading update today Dave297,EBITDA positive in FY 2018 has been promised, so still a long way off yet.Otherwise a positive trading update, with, as I had expected, TMT reagents pushing the growth.
Trading update today Solid growth if not exponential & our new CEO seems to be firmly in control with relocations & cost cutting & the appointment of a new Commercial head is clearly a positive move .no talk of "blue sky" deals, which is good as is the reduction in our annual loss. Our revenue will need to continue increasing for us to have any chance of break even, which seems unlikely this year & there remains the likelihood of the need for a further fundraising at some stage.Perhaps, though, PRM is now moving away from being CPs project & more towards being a PLC operating in an exciting area of science & perhaps, at very last , we will turn the corner, despite our SP being at a historic low.It will be interesting to see whether our CEO ( & others0 will be tempted to buy shares at these miserable levels.
Re: What do these so called experts know? WP - your 'success' with PRM has clearly got to you - what NO GRAPH!
What do these so called experts know? Quote AR:"PRM still struggles and shows no sign yet of earning those much talked of revenues .... ultimately ITS ALL ABOUT THE BOTTOM LINE. "Quote the business media: [link] they don't have a graph...
Re: Good propects, nice earner. Oooop - got a little dyslexic there! That should be the 45th President!
Re: Good propects, nice earner. TP - well its a matter of how much you 'take' from the chart, as. In my view, it is the most useful indicator of market sentiment - I can only say that I would be horribly 'in the red' if I had held on in hope or belief, but its all a matter of approach and taste.I am sitting here watching the inaugeration of the 54th President of the US, Donald J Trump - Unfortunately I very much doubt that the people who elected him in the hope he will 'make America great again' will get their dream fulfilled - You can but HOPE! Alas ideology usually isnt enough, and it strikes me that the election of Trump is a significant move in the decline of the US as the No 1 nation/power. Difficult times ahead... unfortunately -
Re: Good propects, nice earner. Hi AR,My remark was not in respect of your forecasting abilities, but rather your tendency to append a meaningless graph to many of your posts.Market sentiment will only change when the market receives good news. Obviously a graph will reflect market sentiment, but it will not signal a change ex ante.Do you agree, or am I missing something?
Re: Good propects, nice earner. "Sorry AR, but you never learn!" We'll have I been right so far, or not? PRM still struggles and shows no sign yet of earning those much talked of revenues .... ultimately ITS ALL ABOUT THE BOTTOM LINE. and you can reject the 'wisdom of the market' IF you like, BUT that is where the chart has lots of useful info for those not driven by belief (as I fear you are). As ever I could be wrong....Best of LUCK and PLEASE dont let an ideological view get in the way... the chart will flag up a change in sentiment, WHEN/IF it comes....
Re: Good propects, nice earner. Jeffian,You are a wag!
