Re: Good propects, nice earner. Will Fisher Price's Orbitrap be sold at Toys'R'Us?
Re: Good propects, nice earner. BC2000,So, what happens if we see a day closing below 5p?As far as I am concerned, it will not be of great significance.PRM is now, IMHO, a penny share, with the risks that apply.I am maintaining my hold recommendation, due to the new business plan that concentrates on 3 specific aims:1: Drug Discovery - So far a big fat zero, but could lead to a re-rating, should it happen2: Biomarkers - Where the recurring income is. With 10plex biomarkers now available for Fisher Prices' Orbitrap, income should increase.3: Software - Unknown quantity! If anyone knows of any other income streams, I would welcome their input. But, please, no graphs stating the bleeding obvious and twice posted.Sorry AR, but you never learn!
Re: Good propects, nice earner. Apologies - PRM! Not OXB, but both are having their problems!
Re: Good propects, nice earner. Ooops indeed! 5p looks rather vulnerable and bit of an unpleasant dip today (that 50 day EMA loooks a bit nasty!) - SO it may well be rested again SOON if confidence has difficulty holding up. Therein lies the problem - confidence! As I always say, sentiment is a funny old thing, but OXB has had a torrid time, and it strikes me that it all rather depends on sentiment in the general market Unfortunately Trump has the potential to unsettle markets yet more, so it is a bit of a difficult call right now! As even, taking the most obvious move doesnt always work out SO who really knows? .... answers n a post card PLEASE!
Re: Good propects, nice earner. Oops! What happens if we see a day rather soon closing below 5p? It would indicate that even the strong discount of the last placement is not viewed as being big enough. News about any deal might help. What about the 2 Mio AD-contract from TauRx? Will it come? Or was it a conditional deal where TauRx can decide at their own discretion to cancel it in case of poor (seems to be poor) clinical trial results? DYORBC2000
Re: Good propects, nice earner. TC - sentiment is a strange thing, and while you say "It's a good safe bet as it is at rock bottom for such a brilliant company", is it such a 'safe bet'? There s clearly a lack of confidence in the direction the company is going in, as it struggles to make money. You can ignore the 'bottom line' if you like, and characterise it as 'a brilliant company', but its capacity to earn money doesnt look so good to me right now (based on it financial reporting). IF it can start to sort itself out financially, it should improve dramatically, but that remains very unclear right now - hence the low SP!I wish you luck, but fighting the market can be a nerve racking experience, and you seem to me to be doing just that, Belief in a company (and I admit PRM has the potential to be brilliant) but 'potential' doesnt always show up on he 'bottom line', and the 'bottom line' is VITAL, - in my experience it just isnt advisable to ignore it! Anyway, I wish lots of luck, and lets hope PRM can get back on track soon - unfortunately the SP is where it is because here is good reason, and there is no point trying to argue otherwise! All very much in my view, and lets hope I have got PRM totally wrong! ARPS - the chart does not look inspiring (but it merely reflects the lack of delivery) SO lets hope things change for the better soon!
Good propects, nice earner. Yes I agree with the potter, very likely to double over the next few months so I will be topping up next week. It's a good safe bet as it is at rock bottom for such a brilliant company.
Re: Prospects for 2017 TP - "lets keep our posts in 2017 to an acceptable level of politeness!" Couldnt agree more! A good policy to obey, and which doesnt seem to be followed by some on here at all.Not sure why you think my views on the relatively new CEO is harsh - I could well be wrong, but he seems to me to have been 'slow of the mark'. I dont pretend to ANY experitise on this sector (or any other for that matter!), but I just give my view based on what the chart tells me - its a good job the chart is looking JUST a little perkier today. As ever I could be wrong, but I remain pretty down beat on PRM - it needs to earn some good money very soon, and it really needs to improve its 'bottom line', which looks very poor to me at the moment. I also have little confidence in Pearce, but I do hope the new CEO can turn the company around very soon - so far the market remains pretty sceptical! As to the chart, it is noteworthy that the SP remains well under the 200 DAY MA, and the 50 day MA - currently the gap is pretty wide, so lets hope that the SP regains, and moves above the 50 day MA level soonJust my take, so I wish you lots of luck for the future - unfortunately you may well need a lot of it with PRM.
Re: Prospects for 2017 ......and that is a good example of wise investmen
Re: Prospects for 2017 The loo was on the outside of the house and she papered the inside wall. The paper notes were quite big, larger than an old English fiver so it only took about 10000000Rm to do it, they'd have been worth about three old p.
Re: Prospects for 2017 AR,Admitted you have been right all along about PRM.However your judgement on the new CEO seems harsh! The revised business plan has only been put into place a few months ago. To turn around any business normally runs over a much longer term.I also believe PRM is now slightly undervalued, as the dilution caused by the 5p placing was about 33%, whilst the SP fell by some 50% as a result. Also, I understand that sales of 10plex reagents to Thermo Fisher Scientific for their Orbitrap Fusion could make a real difference to the bottom line.Maybe you don't agree with my assessment. That is entirely your right, but lets keep our posts in 2017 to an acceptable level of politeness!
Re: Prospects for 2017 B2 - unfortunately all those buy recs from the believers are sadly out of touch with PRM's reality, and merely driven by hope. Unfortunately Pearce has a lot tied up with PRM too, and he is equally detached from its dire record, which is why his control of the company is SO suspect. Its a great pity that PRM has got into this position, but NO amount of hope is going to reverse the slide (or indeed recs. that its a BUY just because the SP is so low). Its a sad fact that sentiment remains fairly negative towawards PRM, and that it desperately needs to show it can earn a bit of money - no point trying to ignore the reality that PRM has been hit hard. The New CEO has done little to restore confidence in the company's prospects, which is a great pity for LTHs, as it seems a chance that has been wasted (so far!!!)!
Re: Prospects for 2017 Balance2,I'm intrigued! What was on the inside?
Re: Prospects for 2017 Yes, as a long term holder I'm now reminded of my grandmother papering the outside toilet wall with Reichmarks in the 30s; perhaps that's the best use of these shares!
Prospects for 2017 Happy New Year! The recent placing has certainly knocked this one sideways, trading between 5p and 6p since the beginning of November. Realistically, it must now be accepted that PRM is a penny share, and that there will be no significant movement until news on the intended progress towards profitability is received. If positive news in 2017 is received, the SP might double to 12p (broker's estimate), but it is now a question of waiting until 2018 before it is known whether the intention of becoming EBITDA positive (PRM revised business plan) is on track. There is also, of course, the thorny problem of CP's loans (I believe that these total in excess of £8 million), which, if converted to shares, would lead to further dilution.A gloomy picture indeed. And why I can no longer in all honesty continue with my usual strong buy recommendation. However, I do wish all long-term holders the best of luck, as we shall certainly need it!
