wierd.... Where are all you PRG punters?? And why is the share price down to just over 5p after all the greatnews about the diamond hunt due to start in just a couple ofmonths ??Finance has been in the bag for over a week and one would expectthis share to push through 6p based on the facts. But, of course, there is always something that blots fine prospects on AIMand it's happening here at the moment. Yet... what more canthe PRG management have done??? !!!!Grrrrrrrrrrrr !!END
Re: bemused.... ! Just be patient. The crooks that run AIM always play around with the timing to get you to buy or sell when they want to rob you. Sit tight and wait for the fundamentals to kick in.
bemused.... ! Cannot understand this share at all.... AIM- itis ?? !Here we are just a couple of months from production start-up and havinggot the financial backing we waited patiently for. Before finance, the share price was hovering just under 6p and looking like itwanted to break out at any moment....... WITHOUT financing. Now it's around the 5-5.5p mark when, in a rational world it should beoff to the races with no further hurdles to leap and the financial cloutof the reigning Makhtoum family riding on PRG's diamonds venture.Bloody potty !!!!!!!Rgds all and sorry for the oytburst, but it is soooooo maddening.Rgds all.END
Re: Broker Note in Full - 12.9p Scholomo, absolutely agree. Once Stage 1 production starts, fingers crossed that one of those really large stones appears fairly early on. That would really light the torch!
Re: Broker Note in Full - 12.9p interesting
Re: Broker Note in Full - 12.9p I agree with your 3year horizon.I honestly believe there has been to much hype placed on the immediate orice of the Sp.I do not think it will move very much until we have removed some gems from the ground. Many private investors have been very badly hurt over the past couple of years with mners with huge potential and promise having not produced.Whereas in the past investors may have piled into this before any reall results had occured they are now very wary.WE have a very good funding deal and a great man at the helm, but unfortunately he does not have any say on what comes out of the ground.I personally feel very confident about our chances here but am prepared to be very patient,
Re: Broker Note in Full - 12.9p Thanks or sharing that Swooped. Naturally, PRG remains a speculative investment. It hasn't even begun digging in earnest yet. But, as AIM speculations go, I am feeling better and better about this one and believe we just need some patience. I am looking on a 3-year horizon for the share price to reach a point where I can offload a chunk to recover most or all of my initial outlay and then to hold the remainder to see if there really is a pot of gold (or diamonds) at the end of Philip Manduca's vertically integrated rainbow. My biggest fear is dilution but PM's correspondence and actions to date suggest this will be kept to a minimum and will only be done whereby the issuance of further equity strengthens the company elsewhere. Let's see. GS - happy for now.
SP Good brokers note and huge potential and yet still a lot of sellers.Perhaps the forecasts of a general market collapse has spooked many investors.
Re: Broker Note in Full - 12.9p On this basis, we arrive at a risked valuation of 12.9p per share also taking into account the Companys forecast FY15 net cash position and assuming dilution from a placing in FY15 (Table 2). This valuation represents a 144% upside to the current share price. On an unrisked NPV10basis we would value the Company at upwards of 57p per share.57p per share that would do!
Broker Note in Full - 12.9p OK guys knock yourself out with this one, this is the Northland Capital Partners full broker note, it's been uploaded to:[link]
New broker note out today Northland Capital Prtners initiates a broker note today on Paragon with an initial BUY note for current situation of 12.9p
Re: New email from Philip Manduca I dipped in again last Friday to add another tranche at 5.50p (could have got them cheaper during the day but I was out so had to put in a limit order). I've got what I believe is a large enough holding now (about 6% of portfolio) so will probably hold fire now and wait for Philip Manduca et al to get digging. His email posted by Swooped is certainly interesting and clearly suggests they hope to add another mine. I just hope they pay the right price for it (or less). GS
good buying today, but.... Just been looking at today's buys and sells.volume at 16.05 was 3,418,955. Plenty of buys and one really decent1.3 mill buy.Yet we're -1.36% downMM's really haven't done their research on PRG and the very significantdevelopments of a couple of days ago. This share price should be pushing up not moudering around the 5p mark.Next week, surely?????? Have a good weekend all.END
Yes, but are we missing the point The apparent dissapointing reaction to the share price movement on funding has been discussed elsewhere so I wanted to give my reasoning why the reaction to funding has been dissapointing, it is in my view a misunderstanding and a lack of reasearch and knowledge on behalf of both the investors and the analysts, whose coverage has been no less than abysmal, therefore I'll give my take on it as I want to raise a few points that seems to have been lost somewhere in the updates over the last few days, and in particular the comment in the email sent to me by Philip yesterday that being;"and also provide the company with an immediate commitment to fund an acquisition of a diamond resource"Other than Roomove, do people not realise the significance of this statement? The fact that Lucara Diamonds have put up for sale the Mothae diamond mine in Lesotho i.e. in our exact location and that ITGT have committed to fund our acquisition, do you guys not realise the synergy and importance such an acquisition would have to Paragon were it to come to fruition?Given that it is widely reported and a known fact that no new kimberlite pipes/mine have been discovered for over 20 years and the rarity is only getting greater, any additional mine is huge. Lucara offers the chance for Paragon to have not just one great mine but 2, imagine, both in similar geographic locations where the mining could be conducted together with all the economies of scale that go with that approach, imagine what the addition of an existing resource mine of similar size to what most believe we will have in Lemphane after Phase 1 would be, think about it two mines at different stages of production, one a proven resource, one an indicated resource, thereby potentially doubling production overnight, now think if PRG can make this acquisition in a speedy fashion we could have not one, but two mines coming on stream at the same time, wow! now that would be something. Then take this thinking further, look at the economies of scale, both in the same area, utilising the same infrastructure, i.e. roads and electrification, this is also an important aspects that I believe many have overlooked, the roads are already there; this is what I believe Philip was on about when he made a point of last mover advantage, it was not just about the gained experience, it was the fact that Paragon do not need to build main central roads only a spur of the existing central system (happily already paid for at great expense by the likes of Firestone (Liqhobong) and Gem (letseng)) thus costs around electrification can be massively reduced by as much as I believe 80%, not to mention the huge decrease in energy costs since the decline of the oil price. These are the areas we should now be focusing on, the potential when you start to think in these terms are massive and way in excess of the bargain basement share price we see today and even greater in what my first thoughts were when I started investing in Paragon.Lets get this discussion going, these are all important areas that I believe are being overlooked not just by these BB's but also the mainstream analysts who seem to have misunderstood the potential, when this gets out and the penny drops forget buying in in the single digits we have a great opportunity to be first mover investors in something far bigger than we first thought, lets not lose it.
Re: New email from Philip Manduca Wow, Swooped, that is some email from PM! Many many thanks for sharing these with the wider shareholding body.My favourite bit, which I almost cheered when I read it, is:'In regard to my experience or lack thereof in the diamond mining sector, did you expect me to be the geologist or mine manager or for Paragon to partner with one? I have extensive experience in managing businesses successfully, and ensuring costs are rigidly managed and returns delivered to shareholders. Geologists, gemmologists, mine managers etc. are similar to lawyers and accountants and very good ones can be recruited easily. Its the high class management of them that is so essential.'AIM is littered with mineral and gem explorers with over-ambitious prognoses where the expertise is the geologists who have worked with big-name companies and are now convinced they can do better independently. If you will excuse the pun, it is the entrepreneurial managers who understand how to build companies and make personal fortunes who are the real diamonds, and there are few of those to be found amongst AIM mining/oil/gas explorers and developers.
