Re: RNS i think the problem is that people only read the first line of a well worded ~RNS. the share price drop today on top of last weeks is depressing for strong holders such as myself but I am sanguine about the future. we are in a major ppg bear market but we will recover. I just don't know when.
RNS I must say I'm rather disappointed in last weeks RNS and how it was worded. To me it reads rather negatively with no positive comments. OFGEM are reviewing it so there is a chance prices will reduce but these will benihased in over a long period an won't be done until 2020 so there will be no immediate impact on Plutus for a long time. That gives 3 years to put other sources of income in place, look at how costs can be reduced on the generating sites and other comments made to offset the negativity. Unless......dare I suggest it.....a price drop was needed or planned for some reason. Sceptical of me I know and would lead to trouble if that was the case so ruling it out and putting it down to a poor communication. Anywa, it was a good opportunity to get some more as I never thought we'd see these prices again so a good opportunity. Let's see if the sp recovers back to 2p over the coming weeks? Anyone any thoughts on a recovery or the RNS generally?
Market capitalisation has dropped to £9.85M. It was over £20M just a few short weeks ago.
Share volume We are already nearly at the average share volume of 3 million and its only 0830!Going to be an interesting day. Some of those are mine, I found a few quid behind the sofa last night!
Re: Massively oversold I agree. Took the opportunity to get some more today and been in since the .88p days and hallyntinsit this out and wait to see how things progress through 2017 and how the other 700mw goes and what this tie in with one of the 'Big 6' is going to bring to the table. A lot going on here and this is just a minor blip in what is going to be quite a positive future despite the Ofgem decision although I'm sure if it's on the more negative side it will have an affect on the SP but the upside will still good and worth the wait. That's my view fwiw....
Massively oversold I already have a lot of shares but won't be selling. This reaction to Plutus' honesty in sharing this Ofgem proposal with us is ridiculous. But the sp will struggle this spring until build out of sites
Black Thursday ! After all that I think I'll buy some more!
Bad news [link] question for Plutus management (and shareholders) will be whether the portfolio being built can be profitable. Everyone, inclusing Plutus, can't know the answer until the proposals become final and the actual numbers known.A
Oversold? I think so.Its a sceptical RNS anyhow. Ofgem may possibly do something? What that behemoth!? they couldn't get my GSHP paperwork in order.Just bought some more.Maverick
Re: Less than 2p ?? Seems to be a lot of buys going through though after the initial panic.I only bought another load the other day but not worried, this is a long term hold with so much good news to come on all the sites in the pipeline recovery is inevitable.I might even top up some more at 1.6p as the price stands now.
Shares in Plutus PowerGen PLC (LONPG) lost over a quarter of their value today after the small UK power generator warned that regulator Ofgem’s plan to cut TRIAD payments to local embedded generators could “cause significant harm to the UK's industrial sector, and in turn consumersâ€. Ofgem said yesterday that it is ‘minded’ to reduce the TRIAD benefit, currently £45 per Kilowat (kW), to just £2/kW over three years starting in 2018, which would mean big cuts in the revenues earned by small power generators.
Dropped over 30% this morning following the OFGEM statement. Just when it was all going so well. Hopefully, just a bump in the road.
Re: Less than 2p ?? Just read this mornings RNS.Looks like they payment system is being looked at.
Less than 2p ?? Oh dear !
possibly bottom Today's price action indicates to me we may be nearing the end of this re-trace. I put in dummy sales of 1 million shares at various times and was quoted full bid. The offer was consistently around 2.5. I don't have enough cash in my account to know how a big dummy buy looked. Could get £2k worth at 2.49
