Peter Levine interview [link] undervaluedAgreeTopping tomorrowTP
Re: Paraguay Aha! Good find, David.Dont know why theyve commissioned Envoi. They shou,d just give James Parsons a bell at ECHO,theyve got cash for LATAM exploration. Perfect fit.TP
Paraguay Has anyone else visited the Envoi site?:[link] states that "President now plans to spud a lowest risk well by March 2018 in order to convert the block to an Exploitation Concession and execute a field development plan."Not that much longer to wait then!I had also missed the Envoi presentation and the slides. Fascinating reading for those like me who believe that Peter Levine and Paraguay will ultimately come good and be worth the many years of waiting.
Re: reputation Company have been working hard to turn around. Mixed fortunes with recent workovers, tech issues, weather issues, etc, etc. But recent acquisition targeting at least double previous target production and workovers of new assets already planned for Q4, and in an upcoming area, things are gradually coming together. Sp beginning to stir from recent lows.Ive been averaging down from about 9p. Now showing a bit of blue. Great expectations for the future.Good luck.TP Hoping Echo might come in for Paraguay )
reputation I made the mistake at buying these in 2010 when they were tipped (around 70p) although i only paid 50p. They seem to get a lot of thumbs up from the press and analysts yet they always seem to make a loss from memory. Does anyone have an informed fair view on them?
Trading update Good news. Workovers starting already on the new concessions. Not hanging about are they?TP
Disappointed LTH I sold 100k today to reduce my exposure but still hold 600k.My reasoning was as follows.- Lack of transparency with the PG workovers.- Information about dodgy Chinese pumps seems like poor management.- No new operational activity until Q1 2018.- Cash position at the end of June was $4.7m- Debt to IYA is now ~$26m at 10.5% interest.I still believe double figures are possible here before year end.
Re: Interims The successful now completed workover program at the 35 year Puesto Guardian Concession, Salta Province continues to grow production with the well-stock having individually demonstrated capability to produce 1,200 bopd in aggregate that made me chuckle.. woolly? Not surprised it's off a bit today but I still think this will go up decently in due course.. whenever that may be
Interims Excellent results. Mostly post period end. Nice to see Paraguay back on the agenda. Maybe ECHO would be interested in a farm in ?? )TP
Re: Yay!!! The pull back to 8p was to be expected as that was the previous resistance level. I expect this to push on to 11p in the coming weeks now. There will be another RNS in the next 6 trading days to update the market on the PG workovers. We know from the last RNS that PG was around 800 BOPD. Lets see how close they get to the 1200 BOPD target...
Re: Yay!!! Slight pull back this morning on profit taking, to be expected I suppose. But I'm in for the long haul here, buy on dips. Anything under 8p now should see a profit in time.Luck all, TP
A Balanced Portfolio 5.46m Boe of P2 reserves for $22.4m works out at $4/ barrel. Not a bad deal at all considering the fixed oil price at present in Argentina. Granted, this will not last forever but oil does seem to have more strength at present than it has in a while. If OPEC keep the controls in place then $60 oil may not be far away.As I said earlier, this deal was not important because of the increased reserves it was more about the revenue/ cashflow it has brought to the business. This has brought a nice balance to PPCs Argentine portfolio. I have shown this below as an a ratio of P2 reserves against annualized production:-PG - 19.5m Boe P2 at ~800 BOPD (67:1)PF/EV - 5.5m Boe P2 at ~1200 BOPD (12.5:1)Total - 25m Boe P2 at ~2000 BOPD (34:1)
Yay!!! 8.7p close on my screen! Highest days volume since January.Broken out of the 6p - 8p range that it has been stuck in for some time. A good RNS next week could see this test 11p now.
Re: Smart investors Barclays-PPC this is now ticking up again thankfully !lucky I don't want to buy or sell any of this currently..but you never know when you might... Bl+ody Barclays are stilll not allowing trading of this and have it marked as 'delist'.. I've not heard back from the corporate actions lady I conversed with there yet either.. so i expect best case is its available for trading tomorrow (i'd be amazed/livid if it isn't): comedians
Re: RNS Aquisition ! I think the acquisition is a clear positive.. one thing that might hold back sp today / this week is the maths from the RNS on getting to 1200 bpd on the current field rework.... a cynic could say it might be only 800 ish at the moment for eg.. but one could equally say that can't be fairly said as the wording is wolly/ open to different views/guesses and still accommodates them hitting 1200 target.. also the work may still be ongoing and there may be more added this week and next etc...whatever we'll find out clearly soon enough...
