Bought 1000 at 964 ish Should have piled in. Instead managed entry to 962.1p and only have a 1000. Have left back up order on in case of backfill. Otherwise I have to accept yesterday as a gift and was not too greedy about my share taken up. Anybody watching or reading this should note Polymetal has plenty of room to run higher.

Bought 1000 at 964 ish Bought another tranche just above 955p and sold at 960.4 to improve the initial entry position. Will certainly buy the 950’s to accumulate and build a finalised entry positions.

MOSCOW, July 10 (Reuters) - PPF Group, owned by the Czech Republic’s richest businessman Petr Kellner, has sold a 4.5% stake in Russian gold and silver producer Polymetal for about $254 million, a bookrunner for the deal said on Wednesday. Shares in London-listed Polymetal, part-owned by Russian businessman Alexander Nesis, were down 5.6% in early trade after the sale via a so-called accelerated bookbuilding process. PPF Group, which now owns 6.5% of Polymetal, sold about 21 million shares in the Russian company at a price net of fees of £9.66 ($12) per share. That is a 4.5% discount to the price at Tuesday’s market close. Aton analyst Andrey Lobazov had said on Tuesday a sale was possible, as Polymetal shares had approached levels at which shareholders sold a stake in the company a couple of years ago. Polymetal shares are up 16% so far in 2019. The settlement of PPF’s placing is expected on July 12. The remaining stake in Polymetal held by PPF is subject to a 60-day lock-up period. Bought 1000 at 964 ish As I thought Czech owner sells 4.5% of his stake at a discount 966p. This was expected to happen apparently. Not bad news polymetal to recover once overhang from book clears.

Bought 1000 at 964 ish Dropped 5% on no news that I could find. It appears some fund sold at the open possibly. Wonderful gap to 1012 to back fill. Seems to be an opportunity.

Resistance lines breached possible breakout Wish I stayed with it as I took profits before divi. This is the first to breakout. We shall see if it can hold and stay higher.

Polymetal to slip back So far it has not responded that much to the pull back on gold and silver but will soon do so. Sub 800 is likely to arise if gold slips to 1240.

Happy christmas in Russia Well stock price is up despite the fact that polymetal activities will be minimal this particular week. Share price up on reassessed value of what is in the ground. Q1 activity likely to be very low. Surprised that it has got such a big lift today.

Gold sentiment indicators are now very bullish As of today gold stock traders are around 81% long and bullish. The boat is now heavily one sided. Short positions are 27% lower than yesterday apparently. So those not taking part in a late December early 2019 gold bull run are now being contrarian.

Sold out Made a very good profit on polymetal along with juicy divis. Initial buy was poor but the vast majority acquired sub 650p. Now taking a break unless it dips back. Polymetal staff soon get their long break and well deserved holidays. Q1 production returns to low quarter output. All the best to those continuing to stay with the share. Will review Polymetal position later in 2019.
