Re: Any ideas? I did alright on POG over the years, sometimes you have to give a little back, but it brings the story to an end.Good luck holders.
FED, and other notes.. I see the FED are toying with US rate rises...sometime in Autumn perhaps..Also, Putin is apparently trying to put breaks on the Rouples recent falls...not sure what he has in mind.....?Gold is easier this morning...The outlook for various commodities, including Iron Ore, looks distinctly doubtful, so I believe...as China continues to slow.... No doubt that POG would be glad to get shot of its Ore liabilities ..we`ll see how that plays out. I`m not sure how they got involved, but things were no doubt brighter in previous times..These and other issues will continue to tax the markets in coming months...
Found this good report on POG With a PE of 2.2x this report is showing Petropavlovsk as potentially undervalued: OG" target="blank" rel="nofollow">[link]
Back in After extensive research i am back in these having sold at 77p things look much better going forward.
Re: Cannacord buy 12p tgt With our current global markets being held together with large chunks of sticking plaster, eg Greece, and other situations, there`s certainly a wide margin for various outcomes. The IMF have already cast serious doubts on the Greek package currently going through, so chances are a repeat call for yet more help will be coming in the not too distant future.Unless some major EU restructuring of its model is put in place, along with some significant debt write downs for Greece, the picture does not look good. China also looks like its heading into tricky waters, with market lock downs currently holding things together..So many global issues smouldering just beneath the surface...

D...a....M... n... when things start falling in place.. with debts and productions.. fu..ing... gold price starts to tank... Good luck to all holders... TaG
Progress..steady Looks like some progress paying down debts, and meeting targets, with good cost efficiencies.Looking ahead, it seems that new streams are likely to yield favourable returns..Hopefully they will continue the progress for the foreseeable...China remains a key player, so it wil be interesting to see how that pans out..Hopefully POG can unload the Iron Ore mines that they are involved with...a poor scene. At least one director put hands in pockets recently, so lets hope that continues..The global markets continue to be held together with various pieces of sticking plaster...Greece looks a black hole, if IMF comments are to be believed..The recent US agreements with Iran, Cuba, and attempts with the Eurozone may not be more than a thin veneer... I don't see how the US trade balance can be helped by the continued high dollar, but those who understand these things will no doubt explain...so growth looks a tad doutdful. Who knows how the numbers will be juggled in coming months...
Re: Any ideas? Alas poor Clarence ..I knew him well Always instructive to look back C When this was far far higher someone on here did proclaim the following The prognosis for this stock was just about as poor as it gets .Gold was falling into oblivion ..The oil price was crashing ..The US dollar was set to soar I won't embarrass the soul by naming him I believe he's quite shy and bashful .But anyway .Full House !! .whoever it was .

fromSaturdays DT However, Mr Hambro questions just how much gold is actually in circulation, making it hard to predict prices of the precious metal. For some reason I dont understand why gold has reacted the way you would think it would react. Gold has gone back into the hands of governments, particularly in China and Russia. China has encouraged people to go out and buy gold. The Shanghai exchange has shipped an incredible amount of gold to the Chinese people but where that has come from I dont know. The fact it takes five years for the German central bank to get its gold back from the Federal Reserve is very strange. If its really there, it should be possible to deliver much more quickly than that, he said. [link] that make you go Hmmmm
