Re: Rns S - do you mean that you think this company is likely to be bought out? Who might?I can see why it would be of interest ... heading for a $500M turnover and margins of 50%, it can't shell cash to shareholders fast enough and is hoovering up its own stock for fun. Even at £10 a share and the current dividend it would still be yielding 5%.The worries over tighter regulation do not explain the current share price and the broker (hindsight) view that it might only be worth £6 a share despite tremendous financial updates is gutless. So what are the real fears?Too good to be true?

Re: Things just keep getting better What is interesting about PLUS is the poor judgment of those who have had cause to analyse it over the past two years or so. Recall the matter of the "improperly opened " accounts - it turned out that all that had happened was that PLUS had failed to properly inspect KYC documentation. They had it (crucial), but some of the items scanned to them were not legible and so they had to go and re-request same and also suspend new account openings until this had all been sorted out. This occurred at the same time as Cable Car Capital were reported to be short PLUS500 with a price target of 52p (sp was around 300p at the time) on account of some unrelated financial shenanigans that actually made very little sense (since PLUS500 is basically a cash-only business). If you have cash on the balance sheet, then you have at least those earnings to demonstrate (well, unless it was stolen from somewhere!).The small number of analysts covering PLUS do a poor job with price targets generally nothing more than a wild guess, forever being modified to chase the market higher/lower. There has been two halvings of the share price the past two years, with the more recent one pretty absurd. The FCA review, on balance is likely to be mildly positive in the medium term, and in any event, looks likely to have no more than a negative 10% effect on their net earnings in the short term. The trading statement posted today supports the thesis that PLUS is a cash generating machine with very low overheads, so only the most extreme and unexpected form of regulation would be a reason for the price drops I have referred to.At the current sp of 566p, it has a div yield of 12.5% that is still more than covered with cash generated from earnings. I look at this as basically being a high yield bond with a massive kicker in that it is likely to even improve its earnings if we see market volatility (and likely fall in global stocks). My own target to even start reducing my own holding is about 750p. I would be all out at about 1250p.

Re: Things just keep getting better Absolutely, up 30% since tipped back in April and plenty more to come - I would expect us to retest the 700s in the next couple of months.

Re: RNS: Q1 - strong start to 2017 Well it would appear that three directors share our view, all announcing chunky purchases of shares today.

Re: RNS: Q1 - strong start to 2017 Excellent share to hold. I'm not selling till I've doubled my money which will be at 860p. Even then i might only sell half. Can't wait for the last divi payout which isn't till July.

freedom-thirty5 26 Apr 2017

Re: RNS: Q1 - strong start to 2017 This share seems to be driven as much by TA/charting patterns as fundamentals.

shugg1e 26 Apr 2017

Re: RNS: Q1 - strong start to 2017 Yes i think the yield is something like 15%including the special at this priceshould be at least 600p

freedom-thirty5 26 Apr 2017

RNS: Q1 - strong start to 2017 The company seems to be shrugging off the nebulous 'regulatory uncertainty '.Earnings increased, despite reduced market volatility leading to reduced customer activity. I think 2017 has plenty in the pipeline to stimulate volatility in the markets, so that looks good too.Growth of customer base.Oh and the shares are still crazy cheap after the unwarranted price drop last year.

RNS: FSMA Update re Belgium Plus500, a leading online service provider for retail customers to trade CFDs, announces it has reached a settlement agreement with the Belgium Financial Services and Markets Authority ("FSMA" for the amount of EUR 550.000. The settlement was reached in the context of the public offering of investment instruments, including CFDs as offered by the Company, in Belgium. The settlement does not amount to an admission of guilt or non-compliance by Plus500. Despite believing that it had introduced all necessary procedures to comply with the applicable legislation, Plus500 felt a settlement agreement was appropriate to respect the authority of FSMA and to reach a swift and final clearance of the jurisdictional process. The Company reaffirms that it does not have any regulatory restrictions in any of the Group's regulated markets.---------- ---------- -Also, Quarterly update tomorrowPE: 5DIVI approx 10% I just did a cheeky buy.
