Re: 25% tax Don't quite get this - the Withholding Tax and agreement is very clear in the RNS (9 Mar 17). How are so many holders surprised unless they don't bother to read RNSs? In which case, whose fault is it? It's not like anything has changed since the last divi.Trading is strong this year with lower user acquisition cost. Along with the buyback in place, I think this bull market has further legs.

Re: 25% tax I will trim. Will decide overnight how much. It's disappointing since the stock is on upward curve.

Re: 25% tax that's a shock and explains why this stock seems too good to be true.Luckily I'm in profit but I will probably sell on the 25% tax.Disappointed.

Re: 25% tax Flip ... that was a shock, like you I was expecting dividends to be paid gross. My payment received net was 37.65561p per share when like you I was expecting around 50.4p gross (27.29c + 37.99c at 1.295). So 25% deducted at source ... hl have not provided a calcuation to check this.I wonder why this was not made clear until now, and I wonder what to do about it. My portfolio ambitions do not include sustaining the government and people of Israel. Should we cash in the gain or hold for maybe another 50p (net) over the coming year? Hold for now, at least, since the sp is surging. If you have already paid tax on overseas dividends presumably that will get taken into account by HRMC when reckoning UK tax payable. No comfort though if you have your holding in tax-protected ISA or SIPP, even if there is a tedious process to try and recover some of it.

Re: 25% tax found out you can apply for a reduced rate of 15% if you fill out a certificate and send it to the Israeli tax authorityhas anyone done this? and if so whats the process

Re: 25% tax knocks 3% from the yearly yield

25% tax OK just received my dividend but it was £380 light so i called HL again to ask why and was told that the Israeli government have taken 25% as a taxThis makes the whole investment less attractive and as a result i have now trimmed my holding by 50%

Re: Divi payout Spoke to Hargreaves Lansdown div is being credited tomorrow delay was due to it being paid in foreign currency.

Re: Divi payout Could you ask them where mine is too please! Oridnarily I would suspect hl of sitting on their investors' cash, as is their wont, but in the case of Plus500 there may be clearing issues between Israeli sheckls (?) to dollars to sterling. Hard to remain patient as we have been waiting since 2 March, one of the longest dividend trigger squeezes. And it doesn't help that hl have switched off the XD flag even though the payment has not yet landed. Nothing to worry about though I'm sure.

Re: Divi payout My broker said it may take up to 10working days to go into my account as plus pays it in another currency and the bank has to change it over so to get it into your account. 😫
