Re: Why Didn't People Listen! lg, You called it 8p to 3p, so where now? TIA.
Re: Why Didn't People Listen! >>>SELL 8p..target 3p..<<BANG ON!! again..likes to bounce here..DOUBLE BANG ON!!
Re: offer-ABERDEENMAN some hold them on acc, but you can not deal directly. they would use another broker via phone call.Extra dealing costs.
Please could someone tell me what on earth is going on, and when is the 'report / record date' by which time we must have held the shares, and what we are supposed to do with HK shares that we can't trade (HL platform) - very grateful for any straight forward information.
Re: offer-ABERDEENMAN I have a similar question - it is not clear how this would be handled in situations where the nominee platform doesn't support the Hong Kong Exchange. Any views on how online nominee accounts tend to deal with these types of issue would be greatly appreciated.
Re: offer-ABERDEENMAN Seeking advice ABERDEENMAN and wondering if you are able to assist. I hold through Halifax nomineea/c and I am trying to work out how I receive the 11.75-12p indicated in latest RNS today 15 Dec. I am out of my depth here and it seems to me I have to choose to have Regent shares via Hong Kong, sell up or receive (but how?) the 11.75/12p. I would appreciate nay advice you may be able to offer.
Buy Target 14p [link] .
Jim Mellon He holds 30%.Not sure if that's a good sign or not ?Anyone know when he got in and at what price.

Re: offer [link]
Re: offer As both companies are so close "in concert" there is almost zero chance of the offer not being made formal.More than likely they just wanted to gauge market reaction. As per LSE, looks like most brokers are saying they will pay out the 12.5p if they cannot hold HK shares. No brainer by the looks of it.Aberdeenman
offer regent and ple are still in discussions which may not lead to a concrete offer, with only £1m in the bank ple will need further funding come january. still very high risk here,no offer will see sp back at 2p level
Re: offer Regent Pacific share price at the moment is 11.5. But the bid/offer spread is 6/17, which is massive but it would be good if this proposed offer sparks another from an independent player.
4.25p looks like sp heading down on profit taken, 4.25p first stop
Re: offer Agree, if larger Pharma firms see Regent Pacific trying to pick PLE up on the cheap with all share offer then maybe a cash alternative will arise from elsewhere.Fingers crossed as would prefer an cash alternative.GLTA
