Final Pace/Arris post I sold my remaining 15000 Arris shares on Friday - then they went up!Doh - I should have sold sooner as I am now investing elsewhere. Not sure if I will look at Arris SP anymore. they are bound to go up now DT is C in C!!
Frustration! Response from iii..Please accept our apologies with regards to your corporate action for your Pace Plc shares. The reason that some other brokers have allocated their Arris shares is that they have access to a US broker who then obtain a medallion guarantee for this stock but Interactive Investor does not have access to a US broker. Therefore we have to apply for a medallion guarantee and this is a lengthy process which can take weeks or even months to complete. Once we obtain this we will then receive the Arris shares and distribute them to all applicable clients. Again please accept our apologies as we know the timescale is not what you were expecting but as we are an execution only broker we do not have access to a US broker that some other brokers have. We will be trying to complete this as quick as possible so we can allocate the shares to your account.
Re: certificated shares Hi MartinI'm afraid I can't help but I think it would be worth you posting on the Arris board (ARRS) as that's where all the discussion is going on at present. I suspect most people will have deleted their Pace entry so won't have seen your posts.Hope this helps and Good Luck!Richard
Re: certificated shares That should read Arris certificates, sorry..
certificated shares Can anyone help, anyone having the same issue?I held all my Pace shares in certificated form. Several months after this merger I still have nothing by way of replacement. Does anyone have Atria certificates?Does anyone know who to contact?I have tried all those listed in the merger documentation, they referred me to Reignite who referred meet to Capita, who referred meet to Computershare....and no one can tell me anything.Any help would be appreciated.Martin
Been following this for a while. I suppose everyone will say something as and when they do finally turn up, or disposal proceeds as with the case of Jarvis.
Re: test Yes you are still visible, which is more than can be said for a lot of peoples shares.

FCA / SEC complaint Anybody else fed up now and feeling disposed to complain? See the ARRIS board:[link] investors, myself included are now in the process of making complaints to the UK and US regulators.1. Arris trading despite investors being deprived of their shares for more than 3 weeks after the effective date, with no sign of when the shares will be tradable.2. Arris directors being able to sell their shares on or soon after the effective date, whilst PI's locked out of trading.3. Complications and costs associated with holding Arris shares were not made clear at the outset. For example CREST transfer fees and excessive (IMO) Forex levies. Had these issues been clearer then maybe we could have taken a decision to sell, rather than watching the stock price fall with our shares still not available to trade? My broker (Halifax) just tell me that the issue is waiting for the US registrar. Arris also direct us to Computershare (the registrar). Others have said that they suspect the issue is down to the brokers having to sort out complication with CREST. Whatever, my broker seem not at all concerned about this despite numerous complaints, and there seems to be no urgency to sort this out. That's not to say work is not ongoing behind the scenes...just we are rather in the dark and attempts to find out more information don't seem to shed much light on the matter.Perhaps a rocket in the form of a formal investigation may focus attention on getting these problems resolved. Maybe we should also be looking at compensation claims (although I serious doubt we could make this stick).
Re: Where are my shares? Wan any of this mentioned in the documentation for the merger? I have to confess that I didn't read it or respond as it seemed to me to be a done deal and my little holding's votes would make no difference. If these potential pitfalls weren't mentioned then the question has to be why not? I would say being unable to trade for weeks is material and I would have hoped that our Board of Directors might have felt that it was worth flagging to their employers, the shareholders.I might have given this a Strong Sell tag but then I thought, what's the point as we can't anyway!
Re: Where are my shares? For wan read was!
Re: Where are my shares? It's all rather confusing.Halifax did not mention CREST at all, and I am now having doubts as to what they told me. I suspect they don't understand what's going on, and there are hidden problems with this such as increased trading costs for transfers in/out of CREST.
Where are my shares? Just received this from III where I hold some of my Pace shares I thought the process would be painless now I'm worried:With regards to the corporate action for your Pace Plc Ord shares, our corporate actions department have confirmed that your Arris shares are not able to be held in Crest. We need all of our stocks to be held on Crest in order to be held on our platform. As a result of this the shares are being held in a pot where we must claim the shares from. We have now received the documentation required to complete this process and are now looking into how to claim the shares that resulted from this corporate action. Currently there is no timeframe as to when this will be completed but we will notify you by secure message with whatever options are available at that time. Anyone else aware of this?
Re: By Hook or by Crook Norman if these keep going down there could be a new book, it might just be a book of condolences.
Chasing Arris shares I emailed Arris investor relations and got the following response:...best way to track these shares down is to contact our Transfer agent, Computershare. Here is their contact information: (866) 490-6056, from the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. (781) 575-2744, from everywhere else.
