Mystified Does anyone understand the valuation of this company? According to the company website it produced just 11,300 bopd in 2016, yet its market cap is £1.3bn. Eh? Amerisur produces around 7,000 bpd (or will do at year end), and its market cap it just £240m. PGR's website seems devoid of information about the company's future prospects. Anyone understand why it is so highly valued?

Consolidation and now an oil company Premier Gold has announced that it is proposing to re-organise The Company’s share capital through the consolidation of every 25,000 existing ordinary shares into one consolidation share; and thereafter each consolidation share will be subdivided into 100 ordinary shares of 1 pence each; also, that a new board would be appointed and that the company was to change its name to Prospex Oil and Gas Plc, subject to shareholder approval.

Londoner it wasn't BHR was it? If it was I am in the same boat as you with that disaster! Thing I have about PGR is I invested at 1.01p and averaged down to 0.81p so really not looking to get anything back here either. Recent RNSs have indicated if the gang situation was not resolved soon then PGR would look at their options or taking action against the government. Also they indicated the possibility of new avenues to look at. However no further updates on either of these. When you have the company in this situation you would hunk they would want to keep shareholders updated unless it is a load of hot air! The fact there is no news backed up by action speaks volumes to me but I hope I am clearly wrong and this one does turn around instead of running out of money.

obelix your so positive about this company. You seem so pleased with each day when the buying/selling activity is no different from the previous or next day of trading. Were still sitting at 0.06 so there has not been any positive move or also negative move in months. There is nothing. No movement, no news. You can't even email anyone at the company to get any questions or queries answered, in fact you can't even contact anyone. There just shell of a company and I am so annoyed at myself for buying the damn shares at 1.01p!

I had no idea we had the license as Obelix indicates. I thought work had simply halted due to the gangs preventing on going operations. Can anyone confirm my thoughts on this?
