Re: On the move Someone placed 1M share buy order that caused the sudden spike a few minutes ago.935p paid now.If this is climbed, then Monday spike to 960p and possibly 10060p next week.
Re: On the move It is now...
Re: On the move Sudden rebound to a decent 880p.- stable sideways as long as 865 - 875 is maintained- first small bullish alert if 885 is climbed- bullish alert when 908 is climbed- long term bullish alert when 925 is breached- then sudden rises to 1060 - 1090 likely.
Re: Millions miss bills as finances bite It's true that there is a growing market for PFG to find customers for their products; but actually there was never a shortage of customers .The challenging issue for the company is to have customers who will repay. The FCA report shows that this task is getting more difficult as time goes by.
Re: Millions miss bills as finances bite "...and 100,000 had used an illegal money lender in the last 12 months" That's quite a scary statistic. I don't like the idea of people paying ludicrous interest rates to illegal loan sharks who might 'send the boys round', use blackmail or god knows what other tactics if a payment is missed. At least with PFG it's all above board and legal. And if a loan from PFG means there is food on the table until payday then PFG are providing a service that is (sadly) needed. I confess that 35 years ago when starting out in life without a ha'penny to my name I had cause to take out a short term loan from Provident. I only had to do it once but at the time it was a lifesaver. I paid it back early and never needed to do it again. So from my experience if used responsibly then short-term loans can be a good thing. But like most things the key word is 'responsibly'.
