Re: Where will it stop? Let me copy in a quote from my previous post of 2014:The company is changing to holding more direct investments, currently in the region of 44% of the portfolio. According to a recent conference call, they feel the NAV discount of over 20% will start to close once the direct investments represent over 50% of the portfolio, and the company can be better understood by analysts. They are hoping it will be valued more akin to businesses like 3i - moving the share price closer to NAV.--This has proven correct!

Where will it stop? So in about 6 months or so this has gone from Eur 7 to Eur 9.1 (+30%).....not that I am complaining. But, hand on heart, I don't know too much about PEY's underlying assets to judge whether it was undervalued before, is overvalued now or whether now is time to take some money off the table, or to carry on and enjoy the ride.....How do others feel?Guitarsolo

Re: Annual Financial Results Please don't be bullish I want more of these in my next years ISA.Hold the enthusiasm back for a couple weeks! DL

Re: Annual Financial Results I've just added again today as well. The discount to the NAV is huge, even if there is relatively poor liquidity of such investments, it doesn't justify a 25% discount. I'm also betting on the ECB's one trillion of QE will keep asset prices up. Sterling has fallen since my first purchase so in fact it is not that much cheaper (546p v 562p). However, I'm in this for the dividends mostly and so the 54c should equate to over 40p now rather than 38p last year. Effectively it is a dividend increase (in GBP) without increasing the dividend (and yes I know it could work out the other way if sterling strengthens!). A yield of 7.7% is a good prop for my income based portfolio. Currently about 6% of my wad invested here. Guitarsolo - what's not to like about PEY?

Re: Annual Financial Results Yes it is difficult to find reasons why the share price is so low, feel I should buy more too but already overweight might buy more in April for next years isa.

Annual Financial Results Brilliant set of results. With a NAV Euro 9.51 and a Buy SP of 7.09 this is a whopping 25.4% discount to NAV and a dividend of 7.6%, what's not to like about this Princess.Topped up again.Ted

Discount to NAV Discount to NAV now a whopping 23%, this seems very unfair considering the steady performance over the past 12 months and a dividend yield of 7.5%.

Re: Dividend Not yet with Selftrade, but it often takes a while especially with it being euro denominated. A couple of weeks is not unususal

Re: Buying Spree I think the lust for EUR denomination has hit fever pitch. Waiting for the meltdown in Greece's inability to meet its debt and possible expulsion from the Euro may pay off for investors who are sidelined and waiting to get in during any consequential sell off.

Re: Buying Spree Most trades shown as AT> What does AT (Automatic trade) mean?

Tedit 19 Mar 2015

Buying Spree Lots of transactions going through between 95 and 9:13 this morning with the individual volumes of either 285, 1,000 or 2000.Total volume of 138,000 so far is very high. Some one is very interested in PEY.Ted

Re: Share price hit Rusty Jock, there's no need for PEY to hedge currency as 48% of the fund is in America and other parts of the World to offset any Euro weakness in 52% of the portfolio. For example, the dollar is currently rising against the Euro.
