Lowrie i keep reminding myself that Lowrie bought 1m @ 155p.The phased shakedown has been interesting to follow over past months, but for how much longer? The tide always turns.Anybody nibbling?TT
Re: Good Time to buy! Hi AR,A good article, history appears to show another retest in on the cards, would like to see the DOW below 16200 again with the SP below 1810.Some people who follow the Dow theory think we should retest the stock market highs before the current run in equities is definitely over, as always, we shall see.As for PDL, mmmmm
Re: Good Time to buy! Hi bt - balance of probabilities suggest the 'correction' isn't over, especially as markets haven't had a 10%er in 4 years! I found this piece from market watch interesting:[link] all goes well -
Re: Good Time to buy! Always good to read your thoughts AR. The question should now be will the market rally up when the Fed postpones IR rises or now implements QE4? However the rises ever since the start of QE programmes have become increasingly smaller, so it is possible Mr Market will do the opposite of what it's done in the past, or, at least initiallly. One thing is certain though, volatility will increase, fortune favours the fleet of foot in that environment.Cheers all !
Re: Here we go Ideally ..wait for £1 (106)..
Re: Here we go back down to 150...wont offer weak buy this time..suspect break and 135..<<BANG ON!!
Re: Good Time to buy! tt - well markets have at last done what was well over due, and I was merely suggesting that the chart showed the possibility of PDLs SP to sink to the bottom of its trading channel. Maybe your sarcasm was a little hasty!the way the bottom of the channel as of today is around 117p, but a bounce looks possible very soon. Whether markets continue their bearish trend is obviously going to be a major factor. It isn't clear how bearish markets are likely to get at the moment, but the possibility of more falls seems reasonably high to me.Best of luck -
Re: Good Time to buy! Have a coconut, clever boy. Never preached or predicted with caveats either way unlike some.Make money, not war.Buying some?TT

Re: Good Time to buy! Yes, indeed, he tries to insult someone for their poor English but can't himself get 'you're' and 'your' straight in his mind.
Re: Good Time to buy! glasshouses and stones
Re: Good Time to buy! "I'd guess your in your late 20s""Your casual relationship with English makes me wince"Very funny.
De Beers H1 Looks like De Beers H1 2015 numbers have caused some edginess today in PDLs recent uplift insp? Not great reading with a 26% drop In rough diamond sales, caused low restocking.I am no expert but can't see this not having a direct read-across to PDL's forthcoming update? Thoughts chaps?[link]
Re: Good Time to buy! lg - I'd guess your in your late 20s and I am in my 60s, and from my perspective life isn't as simple as you suggest. Its just your opinion re that fence - I don't agree. Your casual relationship with English makes me wince, but that may not be an issue for others - its a matter of taste. We will just have to get on with it, so best off luck -
Re: Good Time to buy! Andy..u have to get off the fence!!.was u a Tory MP perchance??.>>.just a possibility <<Never say never<< I am clearly not saying its a possibility <<If you think thats risible, or inconceivable, ney probs!<<
