Re: Court case... tulleile __________ _Of course, I presume if the court case continues and goes ahead and the individual/s responsible is unmasked then then the allegations will need to be reported unless the judge hands down a gagging order on the other han, hopefully it may not go that far and the alledged offence remarks having been removed will be enough to conclude., the outcome will be interesting,.. insomuch that considering the Market does not like uncertaity if the matter is concluded quickly, perhaps a great sigh of relief and the Share price does a huge leap into positive territory. all imo.EARTHLY
Court case... Defamatory Petroceltic blog 'set up to abuse' the company40Tuesday 08 September 2015 17.17Last month Petroceltic, headquartered in Dublin, had obtained court orders directing the author of the defamatory blog be identifiedLast month Petroceltic, headquartered in Dublin, had obtained court orders directing the author of the defamatory blog be identifiedThe author of allegedly defamatory material posted about Irish-based exploration company Petroceltic International and two of its executives on a blog is a "malicious mischief maker," a High Court judge has said.Mr Justice Michael White said the blog, which had appeared on blogging site WordPress.com before being taken down by Auttomatic Inc (the US owner of the world's most popular blogging software), had been "set up to abuse" the company and its directors.Last month Petroceltic, headquartered in Dublin, had obtained court orders directing Aut O'Mattic A8C Ireland Limited, a subsidiary of Automatic Inc, and Auttomatic Inc to identify the author. The court had also directed Aut O'Mattic A8C Ireland Limited and Auttomatic Inc to delete the blogger's allegations about Petroceltic, its Chief Executive Brian O'Cathain and its CFO Tom Hickey. For legal reasons the blogger's remarks or username cannot be reported.Barrister Bernadette Quigley, for Petroceltic and its two executives, had told the court that the allegations were entirely unsubstantiated and blatantly untrue.Today Ms Quigley said the blogger had set up the blog to publish defamatory matters in a "targeted campaign" against Petroceltic.John McCarroll SC, who appeared with barrister Ronan Lupton for Aut O'Mattic A8C Ireland Limited and Auttomatic Inc, said the blog in question had been taken down, but policing the website presented problems as the author could use a different username to again post defamatory remarks.Judge White directed that Auttomatic Inc be notified by Petroceltic, of any potentially allegedly defamatory comments it is made aware of.The judge said he was conscious of the difficulties experienced in policing the website, but Auttomatic Inc had also a responsibility to be aware that the blogger was "mischievous."He said it was very obvious what the blogger had been up to and it was not a general blogger who had "gone over the top".He adjourned the case for mention to a date next month.
Re: Someone not happy Petroceltic, the Irish exploration company, has said that its largest shareholder is trying to gain control of the company without paying fair value. __________ __________ _______All I can say is that the share price has fallen, and if its not a rude question, who is to blame for that ? The Bod need to deal with minority shareholders ( pi's )disapproval and get the share price up and perhaps get some sort of agreement with its largest shareholder, but of course that may require someone else to run the company and guess that won't happen !!! so catch 22 situatuation... will continue..in the meantime we that are left Pi's are losing thousands of £'s.EARTHLY
