PARAGON, To Benefit From US Rate Rise.... PAG Paragon... should benefit from % rates rise in USA tonight. Looking strong at the moment. Breakout from downward technical channel.[link]
PAG, On The Verge of A breakout....... PAG.......... featured recently here. On the verge of a breakout. Nice Bowl shaped chart, cheap going forward and should get demand from those rejected at the mainstream banks for mortgages.[link]

NEW ARTICLE: Insider: Share slump triggers heavy buying "Paragon punter piles inShares in specialist lender LSEAG:The Paragon Group of Companies had plunged by 35% since early October when the chancellor announced a new additional stamp duty rate of 3% on buyers' second homes from this April. It was ..."[link]
Over 30% down since highs, management statement due 27th (tomorrow) I reckon there's still about £40m of buy-backs to feed through the system, so any sign that all s still well within the business could see a decent spike tomorrow. Similarly, any sign that the chancellors assault on landlords and there could be more pain without a clear plan of action.
Trading statement due due 27th January;should give us insight into the healthof the B-T-L market (for Paragon at least)And also the bedding down of its new leasingbook acquisition.(holder)

Re: Great results I agree. However the market does not concur,The SP had started to move back -even before the results were announced. The only real threat here is a property price reversal-which is not too remote.I am and have been a holder of these shares since company was called National Home Loans-bumpy ride sometimes but the companyhas survived two crashes.
Re: Great results An additional £50m of buy-backs ought to support the price you'd imagine.Hovering around 3% yield on 2015 dividend, so c. 3.3% for 2016? Not overly excited here, but looks a "safer than most" place to park some spare cash for a couple of years while for the small cap sector to find a bullish period.
Great results I'm only a holder of the Paragon Group 6% bonds (2020 and 2024), but after today's results I am strongly disposed to buy some shares as well!
Acquisition SP up almost 10% on news and not a single post here!It never ceases to amaze me -Companies in deep trouble attract so much attention-on this site-while 'winners' seem to attract silence.
