Re: SP ticking up Hi F7: Welcome to the small but plucky and still undaunted band of ormondistas. It's been a while since we had a new voice in our midst. Some would say that's something bound to happen when a company suffers setbacks (despite its best efforts) and has, at least on the face of it, nothing compelling to attract the attention of investors. That was all to do with repeated delays in getting permissions (now all in hand) and the fall in tungsten prices (now improving steadily without Joe Public seeming to catch on). Those of us still here know the company well, think highly of the management and believe strongly in the potential of the Barruecopardo project. Understandably, many others became impatient at a seeming lack of progress and moved themselves on. A number of those who stayed have discovered the joys of bottom fishing, as buys at 1.4p have already doubled our investments at that level. As recent posts show, a number of us firmly believe there's a lot more excitement and gains to come. Congratulations on spotting what Ormonde has to offer. Doubtless, many others will climb aboard in the next few months but for now we still have a chance to stock up while the SP is finding its feet. BB20
Tungsten Price $325 - 328
Re: SP ticking up Hi.Im new to this share but excited about the potential- I bought a small amount today and have high hopes for the next few months. What I like about this share is the management - I was particularly impressed with the last few company accounts. The directors dont seem to be bleeding this dry (long may this continue) and I liked the tone and the presentation of the reports. There is a good story behind this share and I think it could do well. Its good to see the nobel issue could be resolved too- not that the fundamentals would change significantly. Always interested in other similar shares so welcome some to consider in the future. Thanks and Good luck to all.F7
SP ticking up Many thanks to those who have offered their kind thoughts. I have now completed a course of post-operation treatment and hope that this will help to keep me out of harms way.I see that ORM is ticking up day by day and, given that we are now into Q2, I cannot help thinking that this is the start of the anticipated uplift in the SP as we get progressively closer to commissioning in Q3 and actual mining in Q4. I would be interested to know what others here think the SP will be on commissioning and then first production. Thanks to Bizana, we have Davys guidance and my best guess is 5.5p and then 9.5p respectively, then double digits in the New Year. I didnt manage to top up at under 2p, by the way, but am still tempted to add.Tungsten APT is holding up well and news of tighter Chinese controls on mining operations is likely to keep prices buoyant. The IMF have announced that world trade is expected to grow in 2018 by 3.9%. If this comes about, it may result in further growth in the price of tungsten, which is closely tied to levels of global trade. A staggeringly long and patient wait may before too much longer be rewarded and show that we got this one right. BB20
Re: SO BB20, share the same sentiment as others - best wishes for a speedy recoveryRegardsN&S
SO BB20, you are needed on this board.Very best wishes for a speedy recovery,Bizana
Re: SO Thank you, Scholomo, for your good wishes. A major operation is now behind me and appears to have gone well. Follow up treatment is now under way so we shall have to wait and see. Well done on your buy. I am watching the SP closely, having missed out on the recent sub 2p opportunities due to various pressures. If the Davy projections posted by Bizana prove correct, we shall see an SP in double figures and a pleasing multi bagger by the end of the year. Eva Manthey of Metal Bulletin reported APT being sold in Europe on Friday ay $327, $328 and $330 per mtu. If world trade continues to improve, we may see $350 per mtu or more towards the end of Q4, when we have a product to sell. If so, it will be a good Christmas. BB20

Re: SO Hi BobbySorry to hear about your problems I hope they improve for you very quicklyDo not understand the severe drop today so Just bought another chunk at what I hope is a bargain price
Re: SO Very probably, yes. It's one I have wanted to attend for some time and a few health issues on top of caring duties (and an expired passport besides) made that impossible last time round. My guess is that it will be an upbeat affair with lots to be pleased about. Perhaps a few other investors will be tempted also to attend. SP down a touch today and, if I can see off a couple of pressing tasks, I may be able to test the waters again.BB20.
SO Thanks BB20Maybe you might make it to the AGM this year?Best wishes,Bizana
Re: SO Hi Bizana. Well done! Good timing in my view. I've been watching the SP closely and am also looking to top up again and reduce my average (currently 3.9p). Prices for tungtsen APT have strengthened again in the last few weeks (Metal Bulletin Editorial, 9 March: European free market APT at $325-$330 mtu) and analysts are of the opinion that prices will harden further. I see Wolf's results show a massive improvement in revenues (though still a way to go). The end of Q1 for Ormonde is approaching and we have a shrinking run up, accordingly, to Q3 and first trials of equipment at Barruecopardo, followed in Q4 by the first marketable product. I'll post when I add to my holding. BB20
SO There's a seller.Don't know how big but I had no difficulty picking up 300k yesterday.I hope to resist future temptation.
so I wonder why we have slipped back to this level?
Price of tungsten APT Ewa Manthey of Metal Bulletin (6 Feb, 2018) reports tungsten APT on offer (Rotterdam) at $315-320 and a significant European buy at $320.BB20
