Dublin AGM Think he left for one of the other BBs. Drop due to a persistent seller of a couple of million shares. Seems to be done, for now. As Orm are mining and accumulating ore, the tungsten price is steady, just weeks now to good PR.

Dublin AGM Spend a couple of hours on Thursday at the AGM over in Dublin. They presented a new flyover and traced the raw material through a number of the mining processes showing where they had accumulated a feed of ore. The plant appears 99% complete, with just the water to switch on and a couple of large final pieces of plant to squeeze in. They are concentrating on producing a high grade product and mentioned that they are in discussion with Noble about the finer points of the off-take agreement. They are gearing up to a three shift 24/7 operation, with 120 employees, once the plant has been up and running for some time. It was also made clear that Oaktree are very much running the show and will determine the repayment schedule on the 30% share of the mine loan , which was estimated at €40m by Spring. Overall, they seem relaxed and confident for the mine, but put a note of caution around year one as there is a learning curve to the operation.

May 2017, May 2018... Likewise - VRS has been one of the few speculative attempts I’ve made and am very grateful for the recommendation. It’s been very quiet on here given the sp movement in the past little while - looking very exciting!

SP (Scholomo)) Hi Scholomo :Yes, those who thought things through and kept the faith, especially if (like you) they topped up their holdings at recent lows, will be delighted to see things now steadily taking shape and the SP ticking up accordingly.VRS is also looking good. it’s already been an impressive multi bagger for me but what is still to come could leave us in happy disbelief. That's the second new voice here in two weeks, though I can see that you have been a shareholder in Ormonde for some fifteen years--certainly longer, I would guess, than anyone else on this board. You didn't say what your entry price was but I imagine the SP is now moving much closer to your break even point. The SP seems to be showing a strong dynamic at last, and this is hardly surprising given the uniformly positive events of the last year or so, in particular the fast tracking of site engineering that will result in the commissioning of the Barruecopardo mine sometime in the next 2-4 months (i.e. Q3). In my case, anything more now that pushes the SP higher is a bonus, as I managed to bring down my average buying price considerably with some repeated bottom fishing in the 1.4p-2.2p range. A few large hauls at that time meant that I now find myself in the black following the rise last week to 3.6p. Will I be now be selling any of my ORM shares? Not for the foreseeable future, as I am ever more convinced that few other investments offer a better chance of doubling or trebling (even from 3.9p) over the short term. BB20

Re: May 2017, May 2018... Looking back I see I bought into this company on June 21st 2002 when I was excited by the potential of using modern technology to reassess old gold mines in Iberia. I pretty much forgot about them and guess I was lucky that they found Tungsten. If I had kept my eye on the ball I should have sold out years ago when I had more than trebled my original stake, as it is I am delighted at the price rise and agree that the next 6 months should see the price rise continue, albeit with wobbles. Of course I should have added to my stake when the price went sub 2p, well done to those who did. I'll watch with interest from now on.

Just out of curiosity, I looked back at posts that appeared here a year ago and found some excitement shown about the rising tungsten APT prices, which Bizana had noted were, towards the end of May 2017, circa $215-225 per mtu. How much more confident—and excited—should we be in May 2018 with APT sales now at $335 and even nudging $340 on the Chinese market, reflecting tougher action by Beijing to ensure environmental requirements are met by producers and by smelters?European prices are not far behind.There may be a few headwinds to slow momentum but the price trend is unmistakeably up and respected analysts are talking more and more about the evidence of a new bull cycle in minerals. I’ll drink to that. I’m sure the BOD will too, not to speak of more than 100 new Ormonde employees from Barruecopardo and neighbouring towns, who now have jobs at the mine site after some difficult years in the labour market. SP now very close to my break even price after several bouts of recent bottom fishing.BB20

Positive indicators Passing the 3p milestone this week may not seem much to the uninformed outsider but to faithful stalwarts here it is an important marker and a cause for quiet celebration, as the SP now stands at three year high. An improvement was evidently coming, as the SP, which spent much of the last few years under the 200 day moving average, cleared the 20 day, 50 day and 200 day moving averages in early April and has stayed well north of those lines since. Go back to the five year chart and it is easy to see that a saucer shape, which started forming a few years back is building nicely, with the unfinished upward side of the saucer taking shape steadily. These are positive signs, which are causing the chartist to sit up and pay attention. Completing the saucer shape, which should not be too far off, will take the SP 50% higher. That should in principle prompt a pause for breath, as investors get used to their new surroundings, but the landscape will be changing dramatically as the mine is commissioned in Q3, whereupon the SP is almost certain to go haring further up the slopes to parts not seen in some years. Not many weeks after that will come the first production of tungsten in some sixty years at Barruecopardo, with APT by that time likely to be fetching a market price of $350 per mtu or better. These are exciting times. The fairy story is reading well and showing every sign of becoming a reality....BB20

SP ticking up I echo your sentiments BB20.Nice to see the SP rising albeit on small volumes. No indication of institutional buying yet. I expect we will soon have an update on mine development.

Re: SP ticking up BBMany thanks for the welcome.I agree about the management - one thing I was impressed by in my research was the quality of the annual reports and what to me looked like good shareholder engagement. I also likes the fact the BOD don't seem to be trying to pay themselves over the odds- long may this continue!!I bought a few more today and last Friday so happy with current holding and hope I can achieve a similar results to the longer term 1.4 crowd. Fingers crossed things go to plan this time!AtbF7
