Re: Up 60% ! Yes have always held this view as a probability and have posted as such. Ther is no real value in the company with brackets on the balance sheet. Given time anyone left holding shares will be taken out by AL for limited if any value IMO

Re: Up 60% ! Oops, sorry, must stop this speed reading lark. It often leads to making a fool of one's self !Not sure I withdraw the sell recc though. Ope has never recovered from its fall from grace a few years ago. Fine if you're in at 0.20 ish but if your average is counted in whole pence it continues to be a washout and will never recover.Regards, TP

Re: Up 60% ! I think you will find its a few more than 6 buses. Its type Euro 6 may have confused you.But I agree the spike will be short lived IMO with a drift back to 0.22p ish.

AL Seems to be little investment interest here. With the cost of maintaining a listing and the time taken in meeting requirements I would not be suprised if AL took out the 20 odd percent that it does not own, take Optare out of the public arena and get on with running the business.

All at sea So, we have 10 buses bound for the Middle East aground off the Isle of White - good start to the year.
