Numis have 450p target price From today's Mail....[link] the note Rocket On The Launchpad Numis says Optimal Payments’ shares – 4.5p off at 282.75p – are mis-priced.Its target price is 450p. Analyst Ivor Jones says the company has not achieved lift off yet. But completion of the online payment group’s transformational acquisition of Skrill, its promotion to a full listing and the FTSE 250, should light the blue touch paper. Once it gets up to speed it will pull the price along in its wake. Get on board, the broker says."

Re: Edison - Skrill completion moves a s... They dont give share price forecasts and they would be worthless if they did. I think the key takeaways are (1) that they have paid a full price for Skrill but it will be materially additive to the bottom line if they can bring through the cost savings expected over the next 12-18 months (2) the share price should steadily re-rate higher with FTSE 250 inclusion and more diversified platform. I think valuation metrics won't be clear for a while, until after the acquisition is complete....we are all a little blind for now

Re: Edison - Skrill completion moves a s... No forecast on future SP trend, short and medium term, or did I miss something in the morass of figures? FTSE 250 effect?

Re: Edison - Skrill completion moves a step ... Agreed it's a good read. I've been in since 176p and I like the prognosis. As expected with such a dilution it's falling back so I'll wait a wee while to buy more.

Re: 2015 aliouathat was my first buy in OPAYre you second question, this depends on your timeframe. I think there is potential for OPAY to grow so you could argue for higher prices. if u're buying try to buy on pullback's.. and always keep some dry powder in case some better/good opportunity presents itself. I am a short term investor - after a quick return so personally its more likely to see me selling for a 10%-12%; happy with that. also keep in mind the overall market backdrop..... this has nothing to do with fundamentals for OPAY but will defo impact the share price. equities have been very strong for past few years now. keep an eye also for May, normally not ideal time to buy stocks.... but u never know.Eurozone is sitll backed by QE. UK & US - interest rate expectations are important to gauge likely direction for equities.GLB

Re: 2015 hi bull- are you buying on top of you rights? is this a good price to pick some more?

Re: 2015 Nice timing Bullspread. I was starting to look at it with the same view but didn't pull the trigger because I hadn't quite got my head around where value is. I still haven't. Presumably the run up today is a reaction to value hunters and the clearing of the overhang from investors who aren't taking up their rights. Or is the ability to now sell the nil paids now gone?
