Trading or investing? If you're good enough to trade stocks, good luck to you.Warren Buffet doesn't think he's good enough to trade so he invests. He's done OK.

Jim Slater aboard Nice to see a write up in the Daily Telegraph Oct 3rd by JS recommending Opay having bought a few himself. The pros and cons are analysed and he recommends no more than 5% of your portfolio as there is always a risk. The other two shares discussed were Bovis and ITV the latter still being a buy. gla jd

reverse tide? well it looks like since roughly July, the disgruntled scamps who didn't take up their rights issue have either left or decided to hold. The drop in value reflecting the large number of shares issued earlier in the year is right there on the chart, followed by an unjustified dribble downwards, which seems to have decidedly reversed now.The chart seems to indicate that those who felt like flouncing off have done so, and following that, the resulting undervalued shares have been spotted by others with a keener eye. Those of us that did the relatively simple maths and bought no-brainer bargain shares in that rights issue will now be sitting back and enjoying the build-up in value.Volume stepped upward at the rights issue, and seems to be building as well, which is a good sign in the short term, while the fundamentals are good in the longer term. This company was a good investment without the acquisition, but is even more so with it. I'm looking forward to the market updates in due course, which I trust will support my bullish stance.ATB all.
