Re: Stock Overhang cleared today Except no real volume???????
Re: Stock Overhang cleared today Except the price is sharply down...
Re: Stock Overhang cleared today RNS today confirms that African Minerals now hold zero OBT stock, so the SP should now increase with more buyers than sellers for the OBT business as now scoped.
Re: Yo-yo share middler2 I think you are right!!I'm a relatively novy kluk (new boy) with OBT, but some months ago I observed that with the 22 million shares being progressively sold in to the market, the share price of course took a hit. Then some 8 weeks or so ago, TW reported that the 22 million share overhang had gone. There was a slight rally. At the same time there was newspaper talk of a bid for the company at around 20p - which according to TW is about the current NAV. Once the overhang was said to be gone, I certainly expected the price to move up appreciably. BUT that didn't happen! Why not? Based on TW's comment yesterday (my previous post) it seems his previous assertion that the overhang had been cleared, was incorrect! He now says it cleared yesterday. So it if indeed that is true now, I would anticipate the price to return rapidly to the 12p+ level. If TW's other assertion is also correct (my previous post), then next week could see a further price hike. BUT this is AIM and completely corrupt Insider dealing seems to go unpunished by the authorities. So if Winnifrith is correct, there is likely to be an increase in this share price ahead of any formal RNS. NK
Yo-yo share Does this keep going up in anticipation, then down on disappointment or am I missing something?
Stock Overhang cleared today T. Winnifrith may not be the most popular tipster with many PI's, but for what it's worth, he states that the last of the 22 million African Minerals stock overhang in Obtala was cleared earlier today. He also believes that news of a very positive nature is due as soon as next week. He states that the shares trade at a vast discount to NAV but the overhang has killed off a re-rating until now.Co-incidental that the shares have moved up today, or what?GLTA
