Re: I gotta say... Well this share never seems to have been driven by good, solid news. Always sentiment. If they get thrown a Bonio in the next RNS then I suspect a rise...... the sensible one's will be cashing in on that.Fascinating to watch them on LSE......clearly many 'get rich quick people' who know very little about the company and its past - even though people are bending over backwards to make out its all shiny and new and you should forget Enegi. Why only the other day I saw an illustrious former regular from this BB mention the 'curved ball' again.....I nearly spat my coffee out as I PMSL.
I gotta say... any chance of a minty phoenix resurrecting itself from the ashes of a spacemans past...isn't looking all that great now is it...
Re: No acctivity at Garden Hill Hi I don't want to shake the hornets nest I got lambasted for passing on the info on the LSE web site. Apparently he is fighting a lawsuit and human rights case against Alan Minty and Enegi oil. He ended by saying hew would keep me posted that was last week. Fingers crossed all is going okay
Re: No acctivity at Garden Hill Hi Kmack,Any updates from Newfoundland? I am likely fitting pieces to the story in retrospect, but it would seem reasonable to think that PVF / Ecan were off site until there was confirmed extension of the licence (no point throwing good money away!).The DNR didn't update their activity website this week, so I watch with interest as to updates there too.Have a good weekend./
Re: Ermmm since when ??? SB you're dead right. A producing NF subsidiary makes all the difference. Bookable reserves reversal of impairments and a bit of expenses coverage. Hope they can do it this time around.
Re: Ermmm since when ??? Well the words restore production do need taking with a little artistic licence. It has produced, but only in testing. To be fair the BoD have been distancing themselves from NF for a few years. Since it is not actively costing anything i think the deal with pvf is very good. But to me NF is paramount to make the co investable. It needs to be producing free revenue to NUOG which at a minimum covers the admin costs. Preferably a bit more. This is to prevent further ongoing dilutipn for the inevitible (and warned about by the bod in the accounts) cash calls. Equally it will help if money is around for the bills to stop having to farm down equity stake in any marginal field. My concern being that without a decent chunk of revenue even if there is a near term success with a marginal field (and i believe it is still lukely 3-5 years) there will be stuff all left for nuog with all the other interests.Btw i post on lse as YingTong.
Re: Ermmm since when ??? I know and so many are not selling a single share until they get to £1. my long term plan now is to sell out at 99p just before the rush.
Re: Ermmm since when ??? Well Vim,As you say, and as Sony say "it's in the GAMEEEE" it is nothing more than a stock to hopefully take some very short term pokes at, there is money to be made but "in my opinion" it isn't from physical efforts as has always been the case.
Re: Ermmm since when ??? Well if you want a pump go on to the LSE NUOG BB lots of pumps there.......Not sure they are the sort you are on about.Quite fascinating to read some of the posts .......its like being here from 2007 onwards. Just substitute Enegi for Nuog and the same guff is being posted over and over again. Oh but NFL is just a sideshow now the real money is in marginal fields apparently. This Board is like an island of relative sanity in comparison......... Its evangelical over there with a very clear cohort of pumpers shooting down anyone that doubts 'the word'.Clearly one to just play but rather disturbing to read posts about people borrowing money and using overdrafts to buy shares.
Re: Ermmm since when ??? yes indeed but I thought Minty's comment was much more revealing...Alan Minty, Chairman of NU-Oil, commented:"The Company is pleased that PL2002-01(A) has been renewed in line with normal procedures and we look forward to the results of the work programme being conducted by PVF. We look forward to providing the market with an update on the outcome of PVF's work once their work is complete."'we look forward to the results of the work being conducted by PVF'not once but...'we look forward to providing the market with an update on the outcome of PDF's work'TWICE...pretty revealing in itself that NUOG have nobody on site nor do they know what the pap is actually going on...I thought they might have at least afforded to have flown over for a look see or had some input into operations as part owner and especially after the latest cash call... a pump.... a pump... thy kingdom for a pump...!!!I can't believe folks are still buying into a company run by a shower of corporate shysters...
Ermmm since when ??? What does that meanVF Energy Services ('PVF') are currently undertaking and providing 100% of the financing for an operation on the PAP#1-ST#3 well, contained within PL2002-01(A), the aim of which is to restore production. To restore something means to bring it back to what it was before,, does it not !!!!Before they had now't but some intermittent farts of production via swabbing the sheite out of it, along with then shutting it in, waiting for the build up & then crankin it open to get a small purge from it.I would not think restoring it is the words associated with getting it cleaned out, setting a new pump system and raising to stable production

Re: Will we try for 2p again! It would be nice if the sun shines for the rest of August.
Will we try for 2p again! Hopefully with regular news, this will continue its upward movement and between now and the end of September, would be nice to see this try to get to the 2p mark...
