MM plays Interesting to see how MM's can ferk around with what people think they see in the trades going through.Below is a trade I did today for an easy near grand profit after snaffling a couple million shares this morning at the lows of the day.They delayed putting the last sell up until close so it looks like a buy on the end of day spread, but it was a sell at 15:30, not that it matters much but thought I would just highlight that often when people are looking at end of day trades and think someone has bought a chunk at close, they actually haven't. The MM's punt it into the daily trades where it suits them to either encourage others to buy or sell. Hi PushGood to get your viewpoint, as always!I would be interested to know your "reasons" why you feel that the upper 2's is the best that we can hope for but will understand if you feel unable to share these with the board at large.If not perhaps you would email me on the old enegisers address?For my part, I genuinely feel that momentum from Newfoundland will kick-start the price from as early as this coming week and it would not surprise me to see a substantial increase by Friday.As is typical of NUOG, I could then envisage a few quiet weeks before news arrives from several fronts which will really propel the SP especially IF we have, at that time, come to the attention of some ii's! All that time, as I am only now a 2-share sort of guy, I will be watching how my Aminex shares perform as there is a huge expectation that we have hit on some pretty enormous gas finds that are contiguous across several wells already drilled and at some distance apart - time will tell eh but the prospects are pretty awesome if things turn out as rumoured???????LT

Hi LT,You certainly win the award for the most committed to this stock since Enegi days, be it that you ended up more locked in than maybe wanting to remain in. by the by, you are likely in a much better place through working your stock to where you stand with it today (meaning you bravely added & averaged down so you can bank profit at a much lower price than ever before).I think you may well see the mid to late 2's, maybe 3p if you are lucky and no more unexpected dilution is not thrown in before the upside kicks in. but my honest feeling is that is probably as good as you will see & I am not overly sure it would hold the upper 2's for that long.I have my reasons to believe that & I will keep those opinions to myself for now. I am actively trading NUOG currently, but I stick with my day trading with this and only where I see it workable, I will not hold stock for any length of time, which is a shame because it demonstrates an inability to trust the Co to work fully in the interests of investors & for me the lack of transparency is still as murky as it ever was, and that will always concern me for any consideration to hold stock longer than a quick flip. I do hope you come out good on this, same as all the other long sufferers, lord knows you deserve it for your persistence.

Hi SBI was typing when your second post came in and, of course, you are absolutely right!As it transpires, I have been to the depths and mourned my losses already,when they happened with my own contingency plans which I always carry close by!As an aside, and I mean this as a real positive, you remind me very much of my late business partner, an FCA, where we had a relationship that was chalk and cheese BUT we each respected each others' viewpoint and that made for a successful business relationship and a successful business which is still thriving to this day despite his death 13 years ago.I still miss his astute observations and acumen and know that I learned a lot from him but sadly not as to how I should base my investment decisions............... clearly!LT

Re: I gotta say... LT,The simple fact is that it is about the overall account over time. Given your spreading around it has worked out well overall for you. Your risk of ruin is what matters. Though if there is great sucess offloading when you choose to might be a long winded process.Equally it is ok to only have 1 asset. You can concentrate on it. But sensible money management is important. Dont go all in. If you do you risk of ruin is then enormous since there are only 2 possible outcomes. Ruin because you have to get everything right not to be. Or get oit on a streak. And dont come back.Anyway decent results at ghs rhould it happen should likeky give you the 3p. Good luck, and even with the vast sum you have at zero it would really p you off. But you would still have had a decent overall return on the capital deployed over time.

Hi SpokyThanks for your comments – as it happens and as others will no doubt confirm here, I am the last one to take advice from as I am an extreme long-termer which seems to get up a lot of people’s noses!I used to have a portfolio of about 15 shares, started about 20 years ago but I narrowed this down to 3 main shares: Dominion (now OPHIR), Aminex and NUOG (formerly Enegi).I guestimate that my initial investment stood at about £600k’ish when I struck gold with Dominion and made about £400k profit which I, perhaps stupidly, invested in the remaining 2, realising my folly almost immediately when both tanked.Fortunately, I was not in need of immediate cash so just left it be but using dribs and drabs of cash to buy both NUOG and Aminex at their lowest; indeed, I sold ALL my other holdings to get in at the lower prices as I had confidence in both companies.It now looks like that confidence was well placed as my 2-share portfolio is now above £1.2 million which is a lot better return methinks than I would have received from a Bank with 55% in my SIPP and 45% in ISA’s and my trading account.I am convinced that we are on the threshold of great things for NUOG with the next RNS which must come in days rather than weeks being pivotal to the shareprice which I would not be surprised to see at 3p in very short order.As for Aminex, we are also due for news form them which I also expect to be lifechanging!No doubt the naysayers will have a field day with this post but most are on filter although I have a lot of time for guys like Push who will always have my respect although I know this is not one of his favourite shares but at least his posts add something to the narrative!the by Spoky, most of my confidence in NUOG is as a result of several meetings with Alan Minty whom I both respect and trust unlike many here who have not met him but feel free to vent their spleen about him.LT

Hi LT You would probably be a millionaire if you did not invest in the first place and just saved the money in the bank.This has a very long way to go, I would not be celebrating yet. Your 650K investment is currently worth 300K at best. The funny thing is if it does get to 3p then they would have had real success so the price will probably rise to 10p very quickly.But 3p seems a million miles way to me.

Hi last-throw ( I like your name)I have also bought some of these and aimex, which for now are both in the red.My holding is nowhere near yours, at just short of 3ml at av 1.7, as per aimex, this will take me longer to recoup as I purchased on a spike near 6p I was also hoping to get closer to my million with these, no doubt they will come good, but I may need to build on my holding and average down if I can.Premier, is another one which I have great hopes for, not sure if you have came across it! If you have a look at it, would be great to get your views on it.All the best and good luck with that million.

Hi Mr BoyleI have several people on ignore - no guesses as to whom - until this reaches 3p and I become a millionaire ........ at that time I shall un-ignore them and see what they have had to say as this has climbed from oblivion with their rancidity presumably covering every step of the way up!Obviously, it's not been an easy ride but I have kept the faith and increased my holding from my declared 6 million (3% at the time) to 33,527,977 as at now with my average still north of here but certainly not at 3 bloody p,whereas once it was about 12 bloody p!!!!!!!!!!!! Aminex, where I hold nearly 18 million has also proved a stonker with much more to come in my opinion, with a push going on right now that could make me a millionaire with them by the weekend!!!!!Happy days as my overall initial investment in all my portfolios was way less than a million!!!!!Can't wait to read the vitriol once we're there and I am sure they won't have let me down!!!!!!!LT
