Re: The climb to 2p just got harder!!! Given that Companies House has initiated striking off process for Marginal Field Devco for lack of accounts, one can be forgiven for thinking that the marginal effort has run out of cash and is facing the prospect of paying the other members of the consortium for their work, and MFD is insolvent. That sounds like the previous episode with Wood Group and the Fyne field development plan, where WGPSN walked away from it. So much for these consortium jonnies doing it free for a share of production? This surprise funding is to put NUOG working capital into a vehicle which is half owned by Minty to allow the accountants to give "going concern" status for it, to stop CH from winding up the whole shebang. Where is Minty's 50% of the cash?So 1.1 million new shares issued at 1.1p and nearly 2 million traded at numbers above that today. 10 % profit in a day for those in the know eh?Nearly one thousand posts today on LSE from the Manchester City supporters. How crazy is that? Fly Etihad IMO

Re: The climb to 2p just got harder!!! I am not saying I told you so. Just ask yourself the questions and draw your own conclusions. Also I think I was misquoting. I can not find the "foreseeable future".The words in the last rns were different. Sufficient to secure the first project.Subsequent there was also some other raise. From the directors new shares and the brokers warrant exercise. Clearly it is costing a lot more than expected 5 month ago.Maybe because its more advanced than expected.

Timing is everything! In this case was a killer.Minty...Minty... just as things were looking up, should have given it another week or two, and make sure had positive News to balance it out.Must we get grandma to teach you to suck eggs...

The climb to 2p just got harder!!! What can we say?Would be nice if Minty would explain, funded for foreseeable future, to their u are, suck on this lemon boys...& girls I know long term they would need funds, just wasn't expecting it so suddenly, what for exactly, What return to shareholders?SierraBavo & hobter10 have all the right to say I told you so.The only positive is that this was fully subscribed to, so let's see how long will take to recover.I still think there is value & plenty of up side, but if dilution continues, It will come a point in time we have to consider if value of possible assets justifies No shares. For those not invested, what a great opportunity to by in... I'm up to my limit trying to average it down. One step forward, two steps back..

Re: now theres a surprise... I thought it best not to enlighten the lse posters. I would only get shouted down. With that in mind deramp alert....The BoD said they were funded for the forseeable future after the last raise.I think holders should seriously consider1) Is the BoD definition of foreseeable different to everybody elses ?2) Why have they run out of cash. If indeed they have.3) Is it simply opportunistic as a result of sp increas and if so is that the best they expect to see for a while rather than waiting to possibly raise at a better price post workover4) Did lt get to fill his boots in the private placing. I dont have any answers of course. But it doesn't sit too well with the statements accompanying the recent raises.Good luck. I dont have any. But if i did i think i would be selling some into strength with a view to buy back after results are know. The rise looks to be losing momentum now.

Re: now theres a surprise... On the flip side it interesting reading from all the newbies over on LSE who have know back ground knowledge about the company..

Re: now theres a surprise... It's the same old story with Minty. His lack of success with any project has put us in this position where we now have to keep diluting the SP. Very frustrating, I just hope it comes good!Stuck at 8 bloody P

Re: now theres a surprise... I have always been mainly positive(if that makes sense) about the company now Nuog. One of the main reasons i first purchased (yonks back) was the fact they had very few shares,as well as Newfe (as most here).Just "NOW" getting a bit worried about the dilution,as the Bod's (Minty i think) stated it will now be easier to raise funds(placing) for the projects, is this a worry ???. I accept there would be dilution to raise funds, but never been totally happy with shares over 1 billion. We now have 1,218592348......ugh. Any thoughts.???Oh dear i expect we'll get an answer from Blue horseshoe..lol.

Re: Be careful! Orchestrated fake rumour It seems unlikely the operations have progresses to the point of testing. But i wouldn't really know the likely timescales. I recall the test was 15-30 days.In any event given the recent volumes (i think the entire share fliat has probably changed hands twice in the last couple of weeks) that volatility has been lower than i would expect.Problem with trading it is ig are closing only so it has to be real paid for shares. Thw spread is a bit yucky too.Plenty of willing buyers, but when it was hovering around 2p I thought that was pretty much discounting failure

Be careful! Orchestrated fake rumour Being spread online and in group chats this afternoon-that the wellbore was cleared last week and that flow tests started immediatly after. It's utter cac of course but explains the buying into the selling pressure and the somewhat bounce this afternoon. Prior to that the liquidity pressure was selling pressure and it was being offloaded. Some folk will try anything Personally I think this thing is worth trading like anything else but that sorta stuff... Hmmmm! Just FYI BHPS Will reply later SB been a busy day. PPS Genuinely hope some here have recovered some losses. I know some have been heavy

Re: They need our shares Good to see some action here at long last . Been holding for over 7 years lol (does that qualify me as being a long termer) . Anyway I'm still in and will be til mfdev and Newfie play out . Went into profit yesterday!!!! for a fleeting moment as I bought some at the near lows . ....Surprised at the rise on just them flow testing, the well as we know requires a lot of work and that will take time . I do believe the well will come good if they mill it successfully and replace the casing . I think the message boards and twitter frenzy drove us up last few days . The bod need to back this rise with news next few days unless we will lose traction again . Other boards and twitter don't help long term. I'm not keen on people spouting we have half of 100 million barrels in Newfie, when they don't even know the difference between oil in place and what can be recovered. Pvf will recover costing before this becomes a revenue stream for us. I am happy as I just love the fact I finally get Newfie to play out , as we always wanted . So in the near future all eyes from me will be on the mfdev first projec, which I think will be the money spinner and from podcast it should be close to announcement . Good luck all LTH and even Merce (keep it clean) Rich

Re: Mfdevco proposal to strike off We all know the history and false dawns here but this time we actually have a farm in partner in PVF, and we should all know Brian Hickey, who has firstly secured a rig and has started drilling! Duncan Murray where were you?George Langdon at G2 is also well known so if we get an application in there is at least some activity on these two assets. This time last year we had two dead ducks
