Nothing. That's the option I took recently. Due to the nothing coming from the company. Where was an update on the licence. Even during this offer. Nothing! I will wait now and hope that what ever deal we end up with will end this stalemate. Almost as if the extra money is needed to pay the government for the licence, imo.
Re: The offer There will be a recording on the website according to the RNS- not there yet unless I missed it
Re: The offer I couldn't make the conference call can you give any more detail about what was said?thanksR3
offer AuGment you go far back as me and to think my first purchase was for 4 pence not 0.04p. I must say Rod Beddows came across as a straight talking sort of person and encouraging he is taking up shares in the offer. Excuse my ignorance but not sure what a M3 is but i know my investment would have easily paid for a cunard world cruise with spending money. But may be will happen for both of us in the future
Re: The offer When the alternative is certain failure of the company I don't think there is any choice. I too will be voting to approve the resolutions in the hope that they can get their license and rescue something from this sorry mess. I had such high hopes for this project and to think I could have had an M3 ( well 2 actually) instead.
The offer As a very large shareholder at a price well above the current share price. I have been following the conference call with extreme interest. I believe the directors have been working for the best future of the company and can not be blamed for the delay from the government of Namibia.I have lodged my proxy vote to approve the resolutions and would urge others to do the same as the alternative would be wipe out. I feel strongly that in the future we could turn around our losses into profits and to vote down is self destructive
offer I have a substantial holding but wont be adding through the offer. They did not deliver the plan that came our with the last offer and there are just too many unknowns to justify fresh investment here ( particularly as today's price is lower than the offer price). There's much better bets in the mining sector e.g Berkeley Energia who have government support, a substantial proven resource, no debt and a mining licence.
Re: The Offer In that case, I will sit and wait to see if my investment grows more than a 25 bagger which it will need to to make me a profit post consolidation.I'm certainly not adding anymore to this dog.I hope I am proved wrong.
Re: The Offer Can't agree with you on that Mr P.Whilst I'm not a fan of share consolidation from a fund raising point of view it's the only option that NR has as market price is below nominal 0.2p.We should get licence news soon & voting against the resoultions is a vote for administrationThere's a fair amount of chat on some of the other boards..
Re: The Offer My second point is, as shareholders we can vote against this action. I have instructed my broker to vote against it.
Re: The Offer This sounds to me like a pump and dump. I have been in NRRP for the last 2+ years. It sounds like they will consolidate, get our money and allow it to dwindle on the promise of "fantastic returns if only the Ministry of Mines would give us the licence. I mean were ready to go. They are just being difficult. "Save your money. I wont be selling, but I wont be buying anymore.
Re: The Offer I was hoping that there would be lots of discussion about this............Any long term holders with views?
The Offer Anybody taking it up?
Licence News Added a few more on the back of today's nerves. These time are like taking Candi from a baby.
Out When will I learn not to invest in these dogs.....
